Definitely a worthy bucket list addition, Devin always gives it 100% so every show is amazing (at this concert he had a throat infection, at bloodstock a bad back...even fell down and continued to play while lying down until he was helped up). With 8 out of about 28 albums done you've got a lot more to discover! Speaking of Prog, check out Haken, they must be pretty good as they supported Devin on his 2019 tour.

Devin is pretty awesome. As a Canadian I’ve only really started to listen to since last summer. I’ve been really surprised how good he is. You didn’t mention Rush. If you like prog rock you have to check them out. Voi Vod is an amazing prog thrash band. Another Canadian that will blow your mind is Jeff Healy. An utterly amazing blues/jazz guitarist. Anyways 🇨🇦😗💨🌱

I missed a few in there when I was listing my favorite prog bands. I get sidetracked really easily. It took my about 20 years to get into Rush but I finally did lol. You can throw Tool in there too! I’ve listened to a bit of Voivod as well!

I've heard the idea that "Death of Music" is a spiritual successor to The Cure's "Burn" and that feels apt. Band nobody's heard? Well I know one thing that's a criminal offence and that's that nobody has *reacted* to Murder by Death (don't let the name fool you). Start with Straight at the Sun or Ramblin' as their heavier songs then rabbit hole from there.

Right off the top of my head. Ziltoid The Omniscient, Casualties Of Cool, Deconstruction, Addicted, Ghost, good portions of Empath, Snuggles and The Puzzle and I just did a 2+ hour scorching run to Accelerated Evolution and Synchestra lol. So maybe not 8!
