the harley back rest actually mounts to the shock and the frist disconnect as you have stated. and the luggage rack will connect to the 4 points.

Nice little mod. Hard to tell from the video seems the shine on the sissy bar and color of the back rest are throwing me off a bit. Need to mount a bottle opener under the curve of the bar LOL
