Right now I have a titan x-2 full rack. The foot prit is smaller than the sml1 squat rack ..i really like my x2 but can't open garage door because rack is too tall, thats what I'm getting rid of it and getting something else that saves space and not as bulky as full rack. I have a 3 car garage so I have the space for full rack but I like my space:) Like mentioned before the sml 1 squat rack has a larger foot print tha. My x-2 rack but I like the open concept instead of lifting in a cage. Do you thing i will be saving any space with squat rack compare to my x2 full rack? I know the titan x-2 footprint is larger howver the sml1 squat stand probably makes it look like I have more space than full rack do to having only 2 uprights instead of 4???

Hey Chris, I'm in my 60's and looking to get into lifting. A basic weight stand strictly for squats, deadlifts, bench press, & overhead press is what I want. Rogue's site has both the S-1 and SML-1 stands; is there any advantage choosing one of these stands over the other? Also, I'm wondering if I should wait for November deals to get best bang for buck. I own 200 lbs of weights and a 7/8" diameter barbell so I don't need 5 items. As of now, I'd only need the stand, spotter arms, & bench. What do you think? Thanks!

How do I increase my deadlift max?
@islander13 жыл бұрын
Random question: how stable is it? I understand it's got a sky high weight capacity which I'll never come remotely close to touching, but I'm also not going to be able to bolt down what I put in my basement. This was a large reason I am looking at this stand (and the height, the 90 inch will cut it too close). Is this thing stable if you have the heavy duty spotter arms and fail a rep with 315 lbs on your back?
@ChrisPinedo3 жыл бұрын
Yes it will be, so long as it’s not an outrageous fail, for lack of a better word. Like it’s built tough. I’ve squatted upwards of 360 on it and reracking it gives a small shake but nothing too much. Mines against the wall too so I recommend that for the least amount of “wobble”
@islander13 жыл бұрын
@@ChrisPinedo Thanks. At this point the only one who might one day get close to 360 will be by kid in a few years. I'm older and have kidney issues, at this point I'm pretty happy just to be comfortably moving 225 for reps/sets these days. It was going to go up against the wall already, that's good advice.
