I think she shouldn't reciprocate feelings tbh I would put characters I like through stuff just as bad, if not worse, so her being the victim that dies here is just to fall into the yandere story trope and the songs plot. If I wasn't following a rubric, she actually would get out unscathed, lol. It'd be extremely watered down and comedic tbh. I think she could be fun.
