Good god I’m trying this! Wont even wait for Canadian thanksgiving. Those look amazing. When you say ‘cooking spray’ for the rub to stick, you’re talking about simply a standard non-stick spray? Thanks for posting. 🇨🇦🦃
@WeekendWarriorBBQ2 жыл бұрын
I always post my smoked turkey videos early for our Canadian friends. Any non-stick cooking spray will do. In this video I used Pam but use whatever you can find locally

Great video. Have you ever used duck fat spray as a binder and to help crisp up the skin?
@WeekendWarriorBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Duck fat makes an excellent binder.

@@WeekendWarriorBBQ Great! I just bought some. Will try it on the turkey legs

I would love to try this, but, Amazon says $42 for the briner [plastic bucket] and $27 for the brine [2 uses], at that price you may want to add a crack pipe to your shopping list!

Mike! Any thoughts on horizontal pellet grills?
@WeekendWarriorBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve. They work just as good and you can grill on them too. The reason I chose the vertical is it takes up less space and it holds a lot more pellets.
@jamesmapps18352 жыл бұрын
What kind of pellets did you use
@WeekendWarriorBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Hi James. I used Traeger Hickory Blend

Why not let the dirty smoke clear before you put them in, why not a pre heated smoker?
