Looks like an awesome time Frank, great job on the water crossings the TMM are no mud tire and less when almost worn out. Interesting story on how you came to know the Bearded grump. Fantastic diner, and camping. Thank you all. BTW ... I agree with you on being able to lift your own bike, the KTM790 will be a breeze for a young kid like you.

Hello Dave, My Bearded Grump story: I wanted to run the Smokey Mountain 500, so as one does, I was searching for videos on KZbin. The first video that came up was the second video in their SM500 series. They were "real;" in their videos that I watched the whole series that morning. At the time I was often sharing videos I liked on my community tab, and I started sharing my favorites of theirs. Greg reached out to say thank you and we started chatting regularly. I then rode to SC and met DOC, Timmy, and Greg. Road the SCAR to the Palmetto ADV Rally and had a great time. There are no more authentic people on KZbin than Greg and Timmy. As Doc says there is "Frank," which is essentially my workplace persona I use on YT, and then there is what he calls "Frankie, " which is a Frank without the filters in place. Greg and Timmy are exactly what you see! - Frank

A proper adventure Frank. How many times did you have to lift your bike that day? Using the Amish carriage would mean a proper relax after the ride on such hard terrain. :) Got my like mate.

@@OneOldManRiding thats helpful thank you. Just finished the SM500 and it was cold so did not roll until 10. A real slug for sure and problematic when dark hits in the mountains at 5pm. Thanks again, Charles

Why dont you guys tell us what road your on, and what camp sites your using? Nobody does that. Video is entertaining, but I would subscibe if it was informative as well. Name and describe the route Old Man!
