I love watching you preparing a dish and these BBQ Beans are looking fantastic to me! 😋 My baked beans are made similarly but now I can see how scrumptious looking they can be with the sausage, mustard & molasses! I will dice green bell pepper in my recipe and sometimes add browned ground beef to the ingredients but I am gonna try your recipe for a family gathering that is happening next month. made the baked beans exactly as you said, and they were wonderful. BUT, I forgot about something. I used great white beans that I soaked for two days and followed your directions. I FORGOT to bring to drained beans to a boil. They were delicious, but very crunchy. I put them in an instant pot, and saved the day. I use many of your recipes. Thank you so much!!!

This recipe is pretty close to what my mom taught me to make for our BBQ beans and they are always so delicious. I just use more bacon but not the sausage, I will have to try this version too.

I followed your recipes for baked beans and potato salad…..they were a hit! I will definitely NOT go back to my old way of preparing these dishes. OMG…so delicious. Also, a tip….I boiled my eggs along with my potatoes (same pot). All were done at the same time. 😀

I'm making this right now. Instead to andouille sausages, I'm using beef sausage. I don't have molasses, so I added a bit more brown sugar. I also added bell pepper and liquid smoke. It's smells so good... can't wait to eat!
