Yup, it's actually in my parents pool full time now. We put in an inground here last summer and I picked up the smaller Smorobot for my pool.

So you have used this tank cleaner for about a year before you made the review? That’s my biggest concerns is the long term use of one of these expensive robots. And it holds up ok in a salt pool it sounds?

Sort of.... I had the Tank X11, which is the same model just with a larger battery. When we built the pool in the video I was without a pool so the X11 went to my parents pool. It's been chugging away in there pool ever since. Now that the new pool is done I got the C1. My new pool is a salt pool, so far no issues but I've only had it in the salt pool for a few months now. I do spray it down with fresh water when I take it out, not sure if it's necessary with the salt pool but I do it anyway.

Just to share my experience. I service a pool cleaning robot and I got one of those yellow Tank X11. The owner only used it a few times, water got into it and damaged the engine and batteries. In my opinion, the housing of the robot is very poorly made.
