Takazhi Sivasankara Pillai is the greatest malayalam novelist / story writer of 20 th century malayalam literature. It is indeed a tragedy that OV Vijayan, Anand, Madhavikutty etc became celebrities. He was reluctant to go to the Gulf (GCC countries). May be... don't know can't say

Guy de mo po sang. pardon me .. I don't know the spelling.. but I am sure he died in a young age. I don't think he has written a mega novel like Kayar. It is an inappropriate comparison. Leo Tolstoy or Fyodor Dostoevsky or Victor Hugo are probably authors of comparable stature
