I really enjoyed the Raditz & Gohan dynamic here and how Gohan's gentle nature reminds Raditz of Gine. Plus, both of them bonding over looking at bugs is very wholesome. 🙂 So Vegeta and Nappa will be there in years, hopefully everybody training together will be enough, especially since Goku doesn't have access to King Kai training here. 😬 I would definitely like for this to become a full series on the channel. 👍 Anyways another really good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.

It was a huge missed opportunity. Little out of character for Goku to let his brother die. Then again it wasn’t very Saiyan like for Raditz to fear death. Knowing Toriyama he wouldn’t have liked to draw Raditz’s hair for so long.

My first introduction to dragon ball in its entirety was the game Budokai Tenkaichi won on the PS2. I didn’t know anything about Dragon ball I had only read the back of the case and I absolutely wanted it I got it at a flea market of all places as soon as I started playing it I fell in love and I beat that game unlocked everything in it before I ever watched Dragon Ball Z or any other form of Dragon Ball media. I’ll never forget I think in the Z battle gate because that’s how they did their campaign in that one I’m pretty sure they also had a C battle game for the 22nd or 23rd world tournament I think it had to of been the 22nd because they used kid Goku instead of adult Goku and I remember explicitly cruel in talking to Tien after a battle in that gate, and he says “are you even from earth, Tien?” And that question has stuck with me, especially after reading the character bios in that game and finding out Chiaotzu is based on Chinese vampires, and I think it calls Tien an alien
