This version of Raditz is so interesting to watch just a chaotic force trying to sort out life after a near fatal experience to slowly becoming someone just as much as a scheming character planning his every move understanding his place in the world.

This was really cool. Raditz being a 3rd faction, playing the other two sides fits beautifully with his manipulative tricks when he first met Kakorot and makes sense that with his more cautious nature that he'd try to stack the deck in his own favour.

I really, really enjoyed this one. I think out of all the Raditz survival stories this one is the most convincing by far. I know some of the other "What Ifs" I'm talking about are "what if Raditz turned good" not "what if he survived", but the potential for him turning properly good is still there, I think most are just too afraid of the slow burn. Immediate results and all that. There were a couple of things at the beginning that made it feel a little rough to start out, but after the breakaway from the canon storyline it definitely gained its own momentum. Things like when Raditz dodged the full blast, his scouter being knocked away by the blast, and him falling unconscious so Piccolo doesn't finish him, are all examples of Deus Ex Machina, or writer intervention. Realistically there's no reason for any of these things to have happened but for your will to make them happen, which is like the hand of God reaching into the story to change something. Now obviously, you'd NEED to use a Deus Ex Machina moment to break away from the canon timeline (why would events play out any other way than they're supposed to), but each time you use one of these is asking the audience to suspend disbelief. The three aforementioned were all rather quick succession, leading to my initial feeling of rockiness at the start. I reckon if Prof. Chimp wanted to, he could smooth that out. Based on the rest of the video he's certainly creative/clever enough to do so. I really liked the fever dream part, excellent character development for Raditz who gets stuck with the "coward" and "weakling" label a lot. Though I think it would be cool to have had Bardock appear in the dream, as later on Bardock is referenced when Raditz realises his and Goku's potential. The initial dream appearance would be like Raditz gaining partial realisation of this, later fully realising upon seeing Goku beat Nappa (and in general add a touch more depth to his character). But anyway... Great work! Very much enjoyed it and I really hope there are plans to continue with it. Of course, I'm hoping Raditz ends up joining the Dragon Team down the line, but who knows what might happen! At the very least the Namek Saga is a fantastic game of cat and mouse I'd love to see play out in this telling.

Love to see more raditz love and see him grow from being a catious and bit cowardly saiyan to A Mellow but more noble type kinda the opposite of goku but way better than Namek-Cell Saga vegeta also having him and Nappa both alive instead of vegeta would be interesting to say the least

First I'm glad to know that What if Naruto and Menma were brothers and for this story like how did Raditz character how see his tactics mind working on different scenarios to come the Victor especially give a unique aspect of Raditz point of view and for what happened next believe three parties Vegeta,Z fighter,Raditz and Nappa would be in race for the Dragon Ball but also against Frieza I would like see Raditz and Nappa become more of a team in the next part and would like that Raditz and Nappa would turn good in this story but fine if you wouldn't don't have specific ideas What would happen in next but I'm excited to find what will happen
