I agree smiley, She always leaves ya wanting more cuz the songs are so short but even a longer song leaves ya like when you are in a car going over a steep hill and that feeling in your stomach of surprize and wonder. Shes just the best and a great human being also. when she won NGT she gave her winnings to the NRC an organization that feeds and helps refugee children. shes very selfless. Like Ray from Vibe reactions says she just makes me want to be a better person. Its kinda cheesy but very true. I consider her my grand daughter. God Bless her. great reaction smiley.

They often forget they are even doing a reaction video... she has a way of sucking you in, and the world around you just falls away. When Angelina sings this song it feels like the dark tones in the lyrics has finaly come into to peace with its self. Aviciis version is more at unease and he seems so hunted in the song. Here's Angie & her sad dedication songs, & their reasons & to whom. Angie & her sad dedication songs, “You were always on my mind” Willie Nelson cover Angie was 12 yo. She was just at her grandfather’s funeral (March of 2018 & that’s why she’s wearing black) & she did this in the hotel room & was meeting Ivan Mendez for the 1st time, the guitarist to play this. (I hope you noticed, she had no mic either) She had also lost her dear friend Avicii (the Swedish DJ, remixer and music producer) the next month in April of 2018 to suicide & she dedicated a song to him too, it was his song he wrote., Angelina Jordan sings (Wake Me Up) April 2018 by Avicii kzbin.info/www/bejne/fGbSnnaribZsiZI (Ivan Mendez is the guitarist & using her new mic she just received for her 12th b-day) this is from her grandma's channel, (Angelina Jordan Fanclub Mosarz. kzbin.info/door/hM ) The next year 2019 she would lose her other grandpa. He passed in Nov of 2019 while she was filming (I believe it was the semi-finals) of AGT-C for the 2020 AGT-C 2nd season show. She started to write "Million Miles" for him during that time. Than in Dec 2019 just a month later (during the finals filming of AGT-C) she would lose another family friend, former Prince (by marriage) of Norway, Ari Behn to suicide. She dedicated a song to him too. After hearing about his death, (this is from her grandma's channel). I am 67 years old and she reminds me of the way music was when it first started, back in the beginning when you had to rely on your voice to get the meaning and message across. There is a rock band I follow out of Monterrey, Mexico called The Warning. These 3 sisters are very good. They sing and write originals of their own and are an independent band. I have learned that they were contacted by AGT to compete on the show. That’s right.. asked, not to try out but were asked and they turned them down. I love it! Don’t ever think for a moment that AGT is fair at all. It’s all about the money and ratings.

Holy crap-snacks!! That was delicious. If I had been standing my knees would have buckled. She just has the best low range of any singer I have heard. The power behind those low notes is tough to maintain. They usually dissolve in to some breathy barely heard note. But she had power behind her notes. Good Luck with that, I'll probably beat you to the tears if that's any consolation. Oh my goodness the song takes on a whole new feel with her slowing it down. How poignant and beautiful. Hypnotic is how Howie described her singing after she sang her second song on AGT Champions. You and Howie described Angelina perfectly. In my opinion I believe Angelina does it on purpose because she starts her songs real breathy so one has to pay attention to listen to the lyrics.

Sandy, I believe Sawyer won the voice when he was 15 years old. I watched all his performances on The Voice at the time, and for me (IMO), he's no where near the talent of Angelina. She simply "kills" both of these songs. I like her version of "Welcome to My World" better than Elvis'. Her low register has matured so much, and she just mesmerizes me with this song. Her cover of "Wake Me Up" is a tribute to her friend Avicci, who wrote and sang this song, and committed suicide at 28. Her version is nothing at all like his. Angelina has lived a very happy life (in no small part because her family protected her childhood), and losing her friend Avicci (and her grand father) was a great sadness for her. This cover (and her rendition of it) is a tribute to his life and their friendship. Of course, sadness is a great teacher. And Angelina, like all of us, must experience her share. The 2nd song is dedicated to Avicii her friend who took his own life... You can feel her sadness in the entire performance. I mean she can cover a song and give that song the feels and the emotions needed to make the song come to life. What more if she's dedicating a song to someone close and special to her. Avicii was about 25 when he met 8 year old Angelina. He was about 30 when he killed himself in a kind of ugly way in Oman. I think he died around the time her grandfather died, but all these ages are approximate. Hope you are feeling better.

Albert Tenfoot thank you. I remember him. It was rather sad when he died as with so many others I have loved in my life, the ones who started things. Back in the 60s. The 27 Club, we call it. Others took their lives and were the best at what they did. It can be a difficult industry. I pray for all the good ones now to be safe.

Avicii was a young singer, composer, european grammy winner. it is believed he committed a rather brutal suicide. she has recently had a couple of friends who have died suddenly from suicide. i believe this was one of his songs.
