Ok, my opinion. Something larger, some newer and more reliable. 4th gen Subaru Forester Ford Flex Maybe even 2010-2020 Toyota Sienna. It will looks kind of JDM kei truck. Maybe 1st gen Toyota Venza.

I would rather have something that’s more steel panels and welding for structural (not rivets) and less fiber glass. I also think the mk4 jetta kit can use a revision after your experience with newer kits. The explorer sport tailgate and lights are getting harder to find

I get that you don't want to make 5 of something. Can money change that? I mean can you make just 5 if it were for 3700 instead of 2500? Would you mess with wheelbase shortening? (Just learned of the wabi sabi subaru for the first time and I'm day dreaming)
