Snails (Escargot) Are a Late Night Vietnamese Delicacy

In this food travel vlog, Trang and I eat some late night snails at a street food restaurant in Binh Thanh District, Saigon, Vietnam.

Eating snails on the street at night time is a classic Vietnamese activity. Usually people will go out with friends and have several different plates of snails, some beers, and hang out.

Snails don't have much taste, it is the sauce which gives them all the flavour. Escargots in France are stuffed with butter, parsley and garlic.
