Snake Eyes is that one stealthy ninja whose stealth, silence, and sword speak more than men armed with guns. Introduced in a toy line in 1982 by Hasbro, the eponymous ninja is finally getting his own spin-off after almost four decades, and we couldn’t be happier! He has also appeared in a comic series written by Larry Hama, who was actually working on an idea for a new comic based on Nick Fury’s son, Director of Shield. Hama used this premise and developed it around Snake Eyes. Snake Eyes features as a Vietnam war veteran who was friends with Storm Shadow before he became the Storm Shadow. The stealthy ninja goes to Storm Shadow’s Arashikage clan to learn martial arts under the likes of the Hard Master. Since the beginning of time, Snake Eyes has been portrayed as a fairly intellectual and considerate man who knew his way around people and difficult situations. For instance, he doesn’t shy away from letting others win if he feels that doing so would save them from shame and dishonor. He is someone who believes in losing a battle to win the war. However, his character and personality were never explicitly explored in almost any work of cinema or cartoon. With his stand-alone film releasing this Friday, 23rd of July 2021, Marvelous Video thought it was only prudent to give him the respect and appreciation that he deserves. In this video, we will discuss the movies, cartoons, and comics that have featured Snake Eyes and take a closer look at his personal and professional quests.
