The brother should sue in a civil case . She sold the brothers property out from under the other brother, so he ended up with no inheritance from his father.

Exactly; how and why? I h*te women like this one who have had the extreme fortune to find a really good guy; a sweetheart; so much that he l o v e d his stepson; the son of another man; an excellent worker; someone that trusted her completely

I have no idea. Idk what the jury was thinking. This women destroyed so many lives. Even her son who was so heartbroken and he wasn’t even his. She’s evil and the jury got it wrong. She deserved life with no parole. Blood will be on her hands.

The prosecutor should've said to the jury she lied to the911 operator to lied to the cops & she's lying now because she has nothing to lose. She pulled the trigger .

Wth is wrong with the jury?? Why on earth would,they give her 16 yrs only? Surely that judge could have stepped in to increase the sentence. She is pure evil. My heart goes out to the family of Ben.

He actually couldn’t. He could only give her a lesser sentence than the jury recommended but he couldn’t go above it.

@@chrissie1066 On what grounds? The prosecution can’t appeal a sentence just because they don’t like it. 16 years for second degree murder was within the range the jury could choose from. There’s no appealing when there’s been no violation.

Lynlee had multiple affairs, which means she's a liar & not to be trusted. Ben accepted this young single mother & her small son as his own, which means he had a huge, warm loving heart. She got her dream by owning her own shop/business via Ben's successful & thriving snake business, she should've been grateful. There's lots of young couples struggling to make ends meet & living in cramped situations. Poor Ben, he didn't deserved to die so young & violently, having his whole life ahead of him & now he won't see his children grow up. I also feel sorry for Ben's brother Sam. They lost their mother via cancer, their father via suicide & now his younger brother via murder. I wish Ben's children & Sam & his family all the best. God bless. 😢❤

Nobody is trustworthy these days. If you marry, marry only after signing a pre-nup. She gets nothing of yours, so that there is decreased temptation.

I don't believe a word she says and she is not a very good actor the way she turns the tears on and off I can't believe she got away with it for so long. To bad she can't get the Death Penalty I can't believe she is only doing 16 yrs. the other inmates will give her what she deserves trust me they don't like people like her.

I know! I can't believe that people are still advised to do that. Especially in cases when you are claiming to be a victim of something, turning to the jury every time you answer always comes across as calculated and disingenuous. They really need to stop advising people to do that, it's only effective during expert/police testimony.

Give me a break! Her friend Ashly told her to take a Full shower because she was full of blood! After "She* shot her husband and Not Michael! 16 years? Was that all Bens life was worth?
