Not at all “Romeo and Juliet.” Doesn’t anyone read Shakespeare in high school any more!? 😭
@asahel9803 ай бұрын
I think in this context Us against the world thinking which still kinda fit. edit; as far as I remember Romeo and Juliet both families dont want them together which fits. but in romeo and juliet both families hate each other.

What's a horrible tragedy is that the law considers a guilty person who is being punished by being in prison as being in a cruel and unusual punishment situation!!!! Prison is not supposed to be fun!!!!!!!

My parents got divorced when I was 12. It all worked out fine. I started working at age 15 so I could buy things and not steal things. Duh. Working also kept me busy, along with going to school and being in gymnastics, so I didn't have any free time to just hang out, party and get into trouble. Busy bees are happy bees. 🐝 I have zero sympathy for these psychopathic killers. 🤡

Why didn't the witness Friedman warn the police and Courtney's father of the mortal danger he was facing??! What's the point of talking afterwards??! That cop should not have said anything except your a minor we can’t talk about this. Since it was established she needed a parent or social worker. Why no body camera. That cop just made himself look bad. Her laughing could be a lot of things teens giggling could be nervousness or her saying that’s what he always said. That being allowed in to the court is surprising too.

Why did she kill her father?
@MagnoliaTIRsBuddy3 ай бұрын
Courtney Christine Schulhoff killed her father by making his head into a baseball and she took the Louisville Slugger bat and transformed his head into a ball. Reasons why are that her father didn't like the boyfriend, Michael Morin who was 5 years older than her and she was only 16 at the time. Mike was either high or drunk. Some say she took the Louisville Slugger and bashed his head in. After his murder they took her father's pick up and went to McDonald's for food through the drive thru. She and Mike were planning on tossing his body off a bridge. She was convicted and sentenced to life without possibility of parole Which was later changed to 40 years.

If this were To Catch a Predator, and Michael, a 20 year old with a criminal record, showed up to meet a 16 year old girl, how would you view it differently? When that same minor is with that same guy when he kills her dad, do we really place full blame on the 16 year old? I fought to get this sentence commuted to 40 years, and I am proud of that. Courtney was a minor when this happened. Period. 40 years is a massive amount of time and still plenty enough punishment.

I agree.. at first I thought okay, better than blurry re-enactments (which I hatehate - re enacting is not documenting. Documentaries with re enactments shouldn't be called docus imo..anyway), but now the illustrations make me think of "Kouri's" children's book... it generally downplays the seriousness of crimes imo. Idk.. what's next? True Crime Graphic Novels? Ugggh....
