The skirting looks like a million bucks and gives your house a more finished look. Painting the concrete piers was another nice detail for a finished look. The look on Spencer's face when you said, "A family of five" was precious.

@@fishernate I believe they both do their share. Until the babies came she was deep into it including doing as much as she could while working around a growing belly. I think they compliment each other very well. 88Keys acts like she just takes care of the kids which is a job in itself. Probably doesn’t have kids or isn’t involved if he does which is sad.

The skirting looks amazing and painting the pillars black just really sets everything off . It looks like that everything has got to the point, that it has all come together. Over the years after working on and remodeling the different houses and buildings that I have worked on . I would never build something for myself and I try to get other people to build at least 42" to 48" inches or more high off of the ground, it just makes everything so much better getting underneath and working on plumbing, drain pipes and water lines, electrical conduit and wires and heating and air conditioning duct work, just everything installing it and then if you have to come back years later to repair or replace stuff . And then things last longer higher up off of the ground and there is more air flow underneath. And then I think that it looks better higher up off the ground from a distance, everything's more in preportion in size to the total height . Thanks for the fireworks show . Over the years I have done about everything work wise in construction work, and then I grew up on a farm also and then I run heavy equipment also . I am mainly an electrician ( that I went to school for when I was young ) and then later on I also I had an appliance repair business for years . And then I had taken carpentry classes and then I also took welding classes when I was young and then learned how to do lots of other things as time went on from other people . I always tried to always be learning how to do more different things and I always credit that to growing up on a farm, cause a farmer is like a jack of all trades . You all have come a long way in the building of this new home and I commend you for that . 🤗👍💖💫

Well, Spencer, I have to agree with your wife, I would never have thought the skirting would have changed the look of your house so much but the design you came up with did make your already lovely home look “a million times better”’!!!! Oh my GOODNESS YOU GUYS that took me back to Guy Fawkes Night 65 yrs ago on our farm in the Catlins in New Zealand. Your fireworks were superb and wag more elaborate than ours ever were but it's the fact it was home made. It was Daddy setting them up and letting them rip, and giving us little ones wee red bangers that were safe for kids. You brought tears to my eyes as I saw you giving your kiddies those same sort if precious memories. I think you should make accouple of car garages and a tornado shelter/storage underneath them. put solar panels on top to charge your car and tractor and atv. There is alot of potential projects still here.

I miss having toddlers to experience the 4th with. When my 3 teens were wee, I stuck the sparklers in the bottom of a red solo cup so they would hold the sparklers, and I wouldn't be so worried about little burns. So beautiful to see the awe.

Nice job on the skirting. Like the fireworks. Another way to keep critters out of underneath your house or even your main part of your yard is get a electric fence that the farmer's, rancher's use to keep cattle in their pastures. It's what they call a trickl charge and it just pulsates.

Love that woodwork design! It really elevates your home to the “next level”. Hope you find lots more projects so this channel keeps going, but not sure how Spencer will feel about that as he’s done so much work to get to this point. I also loved sharing your fireworks - reminded me of when I was a kid. My brother, sister and I would join other kids in my neighbourhood in building tall bonfires of found wood, etc, in a large vacant area not far from home. We called them “cracker nights” and they were epic … our saved up pocket money went on fireworks that lit up the sky. Unfortunately, due to some stupidity on the part of some people, it is no longer possible to buy fireworks legally in NSW, and we instead need to watch passively as local councils run the events. I feel sorry for the kids today who will never know the joy of my childhood cracker nights. You are so lucky to be able to enjoy fireworks in your own backyard 🤩🇦🇺

Fireworks felt right for the completion of the house uncontained. The fence below made a difference and looked nice for the finishing.
