Hey everyone, this is my first snake room tour I’ve ever done. Showcasing all of my snakes and their enclosures. I have over $30,000 invested into this room so I hope you enjoy all the animals and their enclosures!!

Best reptile room that I've seen in a long time! I love seeing setups for venomous snakes too -- often times we don't go all out for them for the sake of "not being able to see them or find them" but I like to think otherwise and setup like this.... SICK!!!!!!

Awesome. Woma Python, Ball Python, and Dumeril's Boa keeper here. I'd definitely enjoy seeing in-depth videos for each animal. 👍🐍

This is dope! What forms of heating do you use on those dubia enclosures to be able to stack them like that?
@Deathdaddyexotics5 күн бұрын
Hey thanks! I actually have the entire reptile room temperature controlled (ambient) and for the select few species I need more heat for (puff adder) I use heat tape. I’m not sure how much the husbandry changes have made its way into the community but a lot of people are finding that really warm consistent hot spots are actually not as good for the snake as let’s say keeping the entire room at 82 all year round. Most species actually tend to do better in captivity when kept at temperatures below 86. Even a lot of hardcore retic keepers are moving towards ambient heat instead of heat lamps or RHPs. Anyways yeah, I just keep my entire room heated / cooled based off of the current conditions in the room.

Awesome room man! Quick question, how do you keep your snake tubs heated when they're on your metal shelf like that?
@Deathdaddyexotics3 күн бұрын
The entire room is temperature controlled aka ambient.

@Deathdaddyexotics3 күн бұрын
@@requiemofagoldenexperience9851 right now the room is 74-75, 71-72 at night. I am dropping temps for fall breeding. In the summer it stays 81-83

Do you sterilize logs,branches ecc before use? If so, how?
@Deathdaddyexotics4 күн бұрын
No I don’t sterilize them at all. I usually let them sit outside on my back porch in the sun for a day or two just to try out. Here in NA there really isn’t anything you need to worry about as far as outside pests go. I’ve never had an issue using branches/leaves or other outside material in over 20 years. Just clean off the dirt and spider webs and pop it in your enclosure. Don’t give yourself the headache of trying to sterilize everything.. It doesn’t make a difference in my opinion.
