People fear what they don't understand. But, if you managed to have people understand something, then fear becomes respect. So he's trying to teach the little girls what the spider is by showing it to them in person and educate them on what it can do rather than actively telling them oh this is the most dangerous spider in the world, we should burn it, kill it, then watch it die! That's why he continuously ask those girls questions like "You know why this guy is in your house?" and "Do you know why they're so dangerous?" That said, after all, it's not the Spider's fault. They're only acting on millions of years-worth of instincts. It's Humans fault, and their growing cities.

Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? It’s crazy to think how different life is in Maine. We can run into the woods and never worry about poisonous insects. We only have to worry about ticks and those are easy to check for. We see a spider and we can stop and poke at it and look without being worried. It would be so scary knowing you could have so many dangerous insects crawling in your house or bed at any time. But if you live there I supposed you’re just used to it! I absolutely love Australia and would love to go someday. Such an amazing country.
@-MikeyK-3 жыл бұрын
@@Haazziee It's funny how we all have a different perspective on how dangerous things are. As an Australian, we do not give much thought to spiders or dangerous animals as it's very rare to be hurt by something in the wild. In fact, we would think there are more dangerous creatures in Maine, like bears, bobcats, coyotes etc. Most populated areas of Australia don't have animals like this.

@fishby80703 жыл бұрын
@Gavin Cooke Hard it measure "deadliness" since different species use venoms in different ways and different people react to different venoms differently. The potency of the venom is also considered as well as the quantity injected into the victim. How dangerous the animal is also based on how often they appear where a lot of humans inhabit, whether if there's a antivenom available, and if the animal is aggressive. Sydney funnel webs and their close relatives are found in populated areas around Sydney where a lot of people are likely to encounter them. The venom from a single bite can be fatal if left untreated since the venom makes people spaz uncontrollably. In most other spiders, females have the more potent venom and they usually don't venture outside their nest very often. However, the roaming males in sydney funnel webs have the much more dangerous bite in this case and it's the boys that are more likely to venture into human dwellings since they're out trying to find the females. Along with their bite first attitude make them even more dangerous. Black widows and redbacks usually have a "play dead" first defense where their curl up.
@kylestone71363 жыл бұрын
@Gavin Cooke aggressive wise yes. Venom wise no. Brazilian wandering spiders contain much more toxic venom but sometimes they do dry bites which they don’t even release venom but its a way to stop someone from getting too close. A Sydney Funnel web is 100% releasing its venom. So in terms of aggression of releasing venom the funnel web is more dangerous

Funnel webs are actually hellhounds. They bite people in order to collect them for eternal conscious torment in hellfire. If being bitten would not have that outcome, they won’t bite, and you can pick them up and toy with them to your heart’s content. However, the instant you sin or are cursed, they will become drawn to your home. One of those kids probably said a dirty word and the spiders came to collect. Very sad, because more will probably be back before they can get right.

He didn’t find anything, he carried them to the house with him, released them and quickly captured them.

I don't think I could handle living in Australia with these getting into my house.

That ridiculous. Spiders are not a problem here, at all.

I am 81 and have never seen a funnel web and we just live normal lives like any other country.

Mate, be more worried about being called Un-Australian than having a Funnel-Web or any type of spider/snake bite you. I mean unless you go looking for them, you're unlikely to see any. Redbacks may be in sheds and garages, but they leave you alone if you leave them alone, it's not like they have homing devices on their head and know where to find you.

The kids are so adorable and a great spot by one of them of the spider ditch in the garden, bless her. I can't imagine how terrified I'd be for my kids in that house if I was told the world's deadliest spiders were lurking about. Kids don't generally have a sense of danger at that age, they didn't even really freak out at the sight of the spiders, so that just shows you the potential gravity of the situation if they ever came into contact with one of them alone. It's interesting how the mum said she wasn't happy about the presence of the spiders, which would be a normal reaction of course, except she lives in probably the most exposed part of the world for about every dangerous predator known to man......

Even though it’s a dangerous spider he’s treating it with the upmost respect.
