Thank you man, I get flashbacks from my high school coach he always use to say to make it an uncomfortable hell for the opposition if you can do that you have the advantage. Thank again.

People dont get it . . .Sakuraba want an unorthodox grappler. He was a Catch Wrestler, there was a method to the madness. The Billy Robinson way is the way

God bless you for your incredible contributions in studying, propagating with great teaching and promoting this art. So helpful for MMA also. I hope catch wrestling gets collegiate funding and in turn becomes a widely popular and funded sport in no small part to the Snake Pit USA Kind regards, and be sure to double wrist lock the cheeky fuckers with coronavirus who don't stay at home From Punjab (India) and the United Kingdom

I love this, thanks J.B.! If the head-and-arm choke/side-choke/kata-gatame is considered as a pin, does that mean raising your hips off the ground makes it more effective, or is that not recommended for that particular pin/sub?
@SnakePitUSA4 жыл бұрын
Matt S We don’t play by Sport Catch rules unless it’s specifically a Catch Wrestling tournament. The pinning I teach is used to control, and create misery, forcing reactions, and entanglements or separating the head from the shoulders like for a neck crank. So yes you want your butt off the ground about 1” for head and arm. Then your base (feet in that ride) have to be used appropriately. The drive leg (one closest to their shoulder) should be sole away driving into the ribs, and the post leg should be 90 degrees and used like a car jack to get your butt off the ground. The more you’re touching the ground, the less pressure you can put on your opponent. - J. Bane
