I agree Clay, to some degree warranty is subjective to the amount you spend on the truck. My rep warrantied a drawer in my epic roll cab that I damaged.
@aaadamt96412 сағат бұрын
Warranty depends on the rep and what you spend. Our old mac guy would Warranty anything. The new one sucks. Cornwell sucks. Matco is hit or miss. Our new snap on guy is good about it but we didnt have a good rep around here for the last 15 years.

I wish my Snap on truck was stocked like this. My dude never has anything. Legitimately didn’t even have a screwdriver on his truck today. Not a single wrench set. No socket sets. No 3/8ths ratchets. It he had a box of ankle socks. Like what are doing guy
@nathankisner83329 сағат бұрын
Thats a good sign. Means he will be gone soon and a good guy will come in. 2 year max
@ianloyd63846 сағат бұрын
Damn dude.. my guy isn’t THAT bad. But his truck is ALWAYS a total mess- like, getting to the back of the truck? Can’t do it. His warranty bits, shanks, etc etc just thrown on top of and mixed in the drawer closest to his little work space. Oh! Also, never has new/current flyers, let alone actually Having the product that’s on sale that’s In that current flyer. “I can order it. I can order it”. 🤦🏻♂️

Dear Snap On Santa Clause, i would like all the Snap On brushless impacts and ratchets, a new epic 84" box with all the amendments and all the sockets and wrenches, plyers, screw drivers and anyhing else you think i could use.

Warranty from my dealers is subjective to how much I have spent. They are good about it now that I am buying stuff consistently but before it was a hard time to get them to warranty or even come to the shop.

Keep a small balance (under $100) with no card on file so they have to stop in if they want paid.

@ thats what I have been doing lately when I dont need or want a tool. Just keep a small amount on file and pay in cash only or a card with little to no money on it.

I'VE BEEN buying SNAP on TOOLS for Over 30yrs never had a problem with warranty ever
@davidsizemore964011 сағат бұрын
those flat blade hose picks were first introduced thru lisle, the snappys and cornwell are lisles with the instinct handle as well as cornwells box/square style handle. so basically a lisle rebrand, you can save a bunch of money just buying the lisles their around $20 bucks for 2pc set

That’s really interesting about the comfort grip wrench, makes sense and yeah it’s funny SnapOn didn’t point that use case out in the marketing.
@KoonTrucking11 сағат бұрын
Exactly if they would market them that way they would definitely sell better

The warranty is subject to what i spend. Basically depends on the dealer. Better they are to me the more imma use them and not elsewhere.

Im a DIYer, have been buying snapon since '99. Warranty for me is calling, getting a Wisconsin rep on the phone who bends over backwards to make sure I get my replacement. Probably helps I have an account and make annual purchases that they can see.

I wanted one of those hoodies too. Wasn't able to get one. Recently they had a deal to get a dixxon hooded flannel jacket with the purchase of a big set of impact sockets or something. Missed that too. I love the dixxon flannels. Very good quality. Does not shrink. The promo right now is buy one of three things and get a sherpa lined hoodie. Hopefully tomorrow my dealer hooks me up.

Clay as the only one at our shop that really buys Snap-On Tools I feel our dealer goes the extra bit for me. And those flat picks are my next purchase!! What a concept! No puncture, no rip!
@adamvillalovoz346312 сағат бұрын
Hay Clay. Cornwell also has those coolant flat picks style. I got the 2 Pc set for roughly half the price of Snap On...I’m actually thinking about swapping out my handles to a Snap On style. Can’t stand Cornwell square design lol. But tool work well.

@ianloyd63846 сағат бұрын
Cancel your order and have him order the new style. You’re still spending $$. No need to waste YOUR hard earned $$ on a older / different model cuz the snappy guy didn’t inform you of what’s new and incoming. 🤷🏻♂️
@profosist4 сағат бұрын
@@ianloyd6384 looks like the one in the video is the CTR867 which is 3/8in I got the CTR817 which is 1/4in I cant seem to find a 1/4in with the light like that, maybe its not updated yet... It is one of the brand new ones with the colored neck youve been seeing within the past couple months on Clay's videos.

The comfort grip is great for that use. But how about a comfort grip spud wrench 😂. I feel his pain. The past 2 weeks I’ve installed and impacted over 2000 3/4 nuts.

I live down the street from the dixxon headquarters and corporate store i own bo leed then 50 dixxon flannels. I buy at least 1 a week when the company releases a flannel its extremely limited when its gone its gone forever i have the dixxon app on my phone the second a flannel or sweatshirt is relased i buybit because they usually sell out within 10mins its a frenzy

I have the most hated un popular opinion on tool warranty if you are doing warranties on tools its because you don't take care of your tools because you dont give a shit. Now i understand there are situations where you use the wrong tool for the job because its in a weird spot. I bought tools from matco for 7 years and only had to warranty 1 tool and impact gun that had something break inside thats it 1 tool.
@bryanthompson764411 сағат бұрын
