Torque wrenches specifically is where I will always say snap on is well worth it. Electric tools, Milwaukee hands down, better tools better warranty.

100% agreed! I've used other electronic torque wrenches and prefer Snap-On hands down. I've also bought into the Milwaukee line of power tools and have never looked back. As you said better warranty and quite frankly just a better tool.
@RogueWrenching

@@amundsonjm I've used gear wrench and matco electronic torque wrenches and I feel the same way. Personally I don't like electronic, I prefer my classic click style snap on torque wrenches. Electronic isn't particularly accurate especially when you have to make multiple pulls to reach the angle. Paint mark on the bolt head never fails.

There is no debate. Snap On is no longer a good value for the most part with the exception of very few specific tools.

It's a cool Tool Box & A Beautiful set of tools , I agree I run mac, snap on & craftsman ect grey. Just get the best you can. If you use a tool a few time's a year well why pay 55$ a wrench as long as you got a lifetime warranty and it's easy to replace it's cool! Luv&Peace, Cheers Josh, a hello to the family.

I was really eyeing the Icon 56/73 toolbox for the depth for awhile with a top hutch. For almost 2 years, my snap on guy has been asking me if I wanted to upgrade from my harbor freight 56in box. He had a brand new Epiq 60 box on his truck he had just loaded up that’s blacked out with 3 wide top drawers that’s also 30 inches deep. I got a deal and really wanted it since I already have all the tools needed for what I do. Car was paid off the month prior and my finances didn’t change as the box was the exact same price per month which was $240. Honestly, best decision I made over the icon since it would be easier for warranty related things and finding add ons to my box. I needed the depth since my sockets wouldn’t fit in 1 drawer with my harbor freight box. $7000 with 0% interest rather than $14K.

Hey I really enjoyed your video, that's a badass toolbox man. I really agree with you on the tool thing. I have all snap on cordless impacts, and when the 1/2 impact Couldn't remove the bolts from a Cummins engine flywheel boy was I disappointed. I used my buddies Milwaukee and holy crap that impact didn't hesitate taking the flywheel bolts off, it was a hot knife on a butter stick haha that sucker took them all off and it had only 3 bars on the battery. So yeah I still have my snap on impact but I made the switch to Milwaukee lol.

These days you can do the job without most of the tool trucks, it's more of a choice than a necessity with the exception of specialty tools & torque wrenches for sure. Snap On has the nest wrenches among other things but once again, it's a choice. Some brands are close enough to the sun to get burned Knipex, Klein, Channellock, Grey Pneumatic , Astro & many other brands make tools just as good for hand tools Nothing wrong with getting what you like

I got a tool box, ratchets, lights and a few other odds and ends from snap on and I love al of them, the feel when you hold them, the smoothness of the teeth in ratchets or the rubber wheels on my box. They go above and beyond other companies but it’s a luxury to have snap on tools. I’ve been debating on whether or not to get power tools from snap on. I use my coworkers 3/8 impact a lot and I like the way it fits in the hand but it’s just really steep for a small impact then let alone buy batteries and a charger.. but if I wanted to buy Milwaukee I’d have to drive 20 miles each time I had to buy something for it. If I got snap on I could just wait till Thursday and have my franchisee come to me while at work. Just a lot of things to think about. I’m leaning towards snap on power tools because I already have a lot of green tools from them and I don’t like having too many mixed colors in anything haha. Other than my rant, great video! Looking forward to watching more. Have a great day!

My hot takes: aren't Snap on torque wrenches made by Precision Instruments? And the metal capped ball peen deadblow hammers? Trustycook makes them and Tekton also resales them! And I love the Tekton website presentation and warranty service! They are the best at those two things! Boxes. Omg I am so jelly of a big ol snap on box! All my tools are piled on top of each other in a US general single bank and 5 drawer kart! But 10 grand on a thing that just holds my tools is never gonna happen! The best I could hope for is an Icon and even then the wife and wallet will be complaining and I still wouldn't have the "shop cred" of a truck brand box! It feels like a no win scenario. But Snap On does make the best ratchets, and ratchets get sooo much use! Got 3/8 in long and xtra long both flex head and the 1/2" breaker ratchet! Lot of tough jobs for them and absolutely worth it. My 1/4" flex head is an Icon tho, and it's a dream too! Gotta send some love out to Clarinda, IA home of Lisle tools! They got a 21mm "swoopy" wrench just for caster camber adjustments on gm pick ups, if ya know, ya know!

It’s not worth it. Sonic has better tool boxes, Milwaukee has better power tools at 1/2 price. The LEAST Snap-On can do is make decent wrenches. Sad part is that Milwaukee’s laser cut wrenches are probably better lol. Snap-On is the wrong red tool, imo. Also, icon’s torque wrenches are probably better lol
