I’m looking at attempting a 4 z axis CoreXY Snapmaker mod but need a hub where I can reassign the ports. Could you do an M1029 and post response?

This Hub is a passive device - just parallel connected 4-pin sockets for connecting accessories (air purifier, housing, emergency button). With the M1029 you can remap the Snapmaker 2.0 controller slots for X, Y, Z, B, E axes. Detailed description is here: snapmaker.github.io/Documentation/gcode/M1029

Snapmaker 2.0 controller. has only one 4pin port (Addon 3) dedicated to connecting accessories. So if you want to connect a few peripherals, e.g. enclosure, emergency button, eir purifier, you need this CAN bus Hub.
