I almost want to see the same drivers, same passive radiator, and same sixth-order series-tuned bandpass box order, but with the drivers wired in series in an ideal enclosure size with the same power limitations. Just for a comparison that uses a physical build to display tradeoffs with driver loading configurations within the same setup parameters.

Would love to see you build a custom fit box for a car in a tucked corner with some very weird angles and such using those 3d scanning tools and then using that to print the perfect fit enclosure for any vehicle :D . Love your Bandpass boxes! Had you plan and a local place build one. Hands down the best sounding sub i've ever had. Many thanks for all the hard work and effort you go through. these 3d printed builds are amazing!

Love the projects you create and enjoy your videos. But I saw the bed having adhesion issues and saw you using alcohol. But I'm just suggesting maybe using a degreaser soap instead, I stopped using isopropyl and started just using degreaser and a soft brush to clean all my plates. But if the plate is just garbage then that wouldn't help anyway. You could hit the plate with the green scrubby on a sponge to rough it up a bit as well.

@BenHeien4 күн бұрын
thats $100 in drivers for not much low end. id highly recommend going with the dual tang band w51138smf build that was posted right before this one. youll be able to play a lot lower and with a lot less distortion at higher volume. heck, the 6th order bandpass for the dayton classic 6.5" sub would do more for less. but if you have the money to spare, go for it! you WILL giggle the first time you hear it.

1:05 to 1:30 - My guess is that there is a low spot in the centre of the bed (like most printers,) and you might have crushed some perfectly-good PLA. The double-benchies both stuck because neither of them printed on the low spot, and the black benchy printed because it had a large brim vs. no brim for the orange benchy. If this printer has mesh bed levelling, plz ignore.

This printer seems to have everything that prevented me from getting into 3d printing for years. I started with a Bambu machine and while I don't have great things to say about the company the printer itself works great. I think any company not implementing the same quality of life features in their printers is going to disappear. If I had to level my bed and manually calibrate the printer between each print I'd be printing nothing. Same goes to hardware upgrades. My hobby is printing and not wrenching on printers. Anyway thanks for the models, I might just try them out.

I wear the backpack speaker while riding electric unicycle and was very surprised with the fidelity! is the dsp file available anywhere? I think the most amazing build by far has been the dozer. Its nuts that the port JUST fits with the cuts on the inner flare. My main complaint with the design is the insane amount of support material required. The only reasonable, good hearted, American thing to do is design a MTM "Double Dozer" with a tongue/groove assembly. Think of all the plastic youll save from going in the land fill... do it for the children. they need you. i need you.

2 things, PLA will warp in an enclosed printer you need to leave the door open for PLA the petg can have the door closed, if you want to print with the door closed for sound you need an adhesive (not glue stick as it is not a glue rather it is a mold release if your prints stick too well, amazon has a few good ones like magigoo and prevlant t-80 they both work very well) and you never scuffed that new print surface, all of those types of build surfaces should first be cleaned with hot soapy water in the sink to get off the factory mold release and you need to scuff the surface with sandpaper or a kitchen scouring pad, those steps should be taken for all printers when you first unbox them. And iso does not work well enough to clean the bed if you are having adhesion problems.
@zdog902102 күн бұрын
and it look like z-hop my be on in your settings, that should be disabled, and your first layer should be .32 for a mutiple of .04 and proper adhesion

For the future: Clean PEI äquivalents with Acetone - the only thing that enhances the buildplates capabilities. Also its brutal how often you face severe problems with the machines you get. Never had issues with mine - or own build. Maybe they really send you just second choice ware xD Also im very little impressed with the out of box quality and looks of this very pricey snapmaker machine. I wonder how they can still keep their business alive with todays amount of competition.
@TimoLahti3 күн бұрын
The ladys work ergonomics at the desk are horrible. The display is way too high, you need to bend your neck backwards due to too high position of the display. But nice print tho, I ditched the Snapmaker 2 A350 from 3D printing part totally as I got frustated for the adhesion issues it had. Seems they've yet got a long way to go with print quality. Maybe some other print sheet manufacturer would make a decent PEI plate for the device..

Ultimately only the 6.5” driver is touching the air. How does this compare to a 6.5” in a simple sealed box the same overall (external) dimensions and using a DSP to shape it? With 100w class Ds readily available does the extra cost of the three “drivers” outweigh the amp, dsp and power?
@75keg754 күн бұрын
Can you use interface only as Pva or pla? Rather than using all the support. If using Pva it is price, so worth a look at interface only in Pva or pla. (If using Petg. Also you can lift everything up and it will reduce pla and petg heat differential. I do this by adding a 5-10mm cylinder that 5-10mm lower than the model. Then you form Petg supports with pla interface. Sort of like a raft but not. I’ve noticed on some parts I do need to add in cylinders to hold my part down to bed as Petg doesn’t stick to pla nothing holding other than gravity and shrinkage can be an issue on long slender parts they lift then shift. Employ mouse ears or anchor blocks.. When you see the warp length from say a corner apply a mouse ear at least that distance. You may find you get lifting still so you often have to do a block of material (mass) with connectors to your part. It’s interesting to stop lifting. There must be a away of checking a model for ear page in the slice process. And adjust speeds etc to account for it. Ir external voids to cause a stress break , Or give suggest of anchor area. I’ll try post a video on ONE SOLID CUBE. to explain what I mean. I just did a 45 buck 40hrs print that failed as it warped. I should have killed it as soon as I saw the lift. But I have a Idea that I haven’t seen before which should work in round two. Fingers crossed it works. Can you do a video of software us pleibians can use to design stuff. You’re obviously a professional and acquired stuff over time but it would be handy to see if there is cheap or free tools that can be used to sort of come close to what your doing…. Thx
