I agree Mike I was originally going to call it a 4.5 but with a lot of humidity okay I think it played after to me enough for me to bump the avg up.

Our weather has turned to cold and dry so I didn't have much humidity to deal with when I was throwing them. I'm looking forward to trying them out when it's humid.

So i have a question....My go to bags are SW Bag Jefe, but theyre not ACL stamped. I'm need ing a suggestion on the bag that you think is most like the Jefe but with the ACL stamp. Thanks!!

I don't know of an ACL bag that is exactly like the Jefe. The Costello X uses the same materials but the fill is worse. The Buffalo Sauce, Name Brand Big Jack 2.0, Swag Bags KaBoom and SubZero Wintertide use the same slow side but the fast side and fill is different. The closest bag out of those is probably the Big Jack 2.0. The Brotherhood Guardian is a different slow side material but I think it's a bag that you will like. If I remember correctly, it has a similar feel to the Jefe.

This is not the herringbone carpet. This is a hybrid material and is a little thicker than the herringbone.

I did a vinegar soak on these and then threw them a lot. That slow side takes some time to break in.

I handled these at the ACL OPEN #3 last week. My first impressions were the fast side material was super thin and the "large herringbone" material was thick. The contrast threw me off at first, reminded me of when I first got and broke in my 24 BG Sorcerers. I dont think that should disuade people. What was most interesting was on 2 of the 4 bags the herringbone pattern was "upside down" not sure if that was intentional or not or if that changes playability. Has anyone else seen this?

My bags came in yesterday (set for me and a set for the wife) the carpet came just like you said on both sets. Just by my initial reaction, i can't see it effecting much.
