Snapper, Triggerfish, Yellow Jack! Catch Clean Cook (Florida Keys Deep Sea Fishing)

Brook and I took a trip down to Tavernier in the Florida Keys to do some bottom fishing with our friend Capt. Ryan of Good Karma Sport-fishing. We got on a bunch of delicious reef fish such as triggerfish, yellowjack, and mutton snapper. We fished the reef for snapper, as well as drifted out deep for mutton snapper and grouper.My buddy James @yames2 on instagram, who is a professional chef made two amazing dishes with the yellow-jack and the mutton snapper. The first was a aquachile and the second was a pan seared mutton snapper with lobster panko toping and seared scallops on the side! One of my favorite catch clean cook videos to date!

Victor, ive been watching your channel religiously for a while, didnt know i haven't subscribed yet, so i did. You, your woman, and the family are awesome :D you're a madly talented fisherman and cook, you seem to be a genuinely humble, positive, cool, and all around fun person. I live over in the Tampa Bay area, diehard fisherman, but i dont have the resources you do. Its cool to watch somebody who has the resources you do, but wont turn their nose up at "trash" fish. No such thing as trash fish, only trash cooks. Keep them coming man!

I love the Snapper, one of my favorite fish with an incredible taste. While living in San Diego, my home away from home was the Red Snapper Inn for may Years. Both for their fine dinners and a excellent fishing fleet chartered trips. So it's a pleasure to watch this catch, clean & cook

As a kid in Bermuda we called it Yellotin. I'm not sure of the spelling but it was a yellow tailed jack pronounced in the West Indian style. I just remember that even as a 5 year old I loved to eat them and still would take them when I was older in Florida when others called them trash. Keep going kids and be safe!
