So how do you treat it?

Dr. Girmannm - HELP ME! Since I was 18 I had hip pain my Senior year in HS. Freshman PE I slipped early morning in soccer on the wet field and I went into a split motion while running.. I did the splits and got stuck, i leaned back to try and get out of it and it made things worse.. I was never the same after. I couldn't get into a 3-point stance any longer. The HS Basketball Coach was wondering why I didn't try out for the team, as I spent the whole summer playing with the Varsity team and then staying after to watching practice. I was in so much pain, but no doctor really took my serious. Not even my parents. They thought I just sprained it. Fast forward to my college years.. I ended up breaking and tearing both ligaments in my foot, tore my meniscus, hernia.. I've had major surgeries for all of those plus many many more.. Doctor thinks my pain is coming from my l4-l6 region.. My brother is a DPT and thinks it's sciatica or snapping hip. or piriformis syndrome. I am now 33 and I am so frustrated . I can't do bodybuilding anymore, I can't run or walk with long gate or much of anything. Sitting is the absolutely worse. It literately feels my left inside is on fire.. inflammation.. Dull.. achy..burning.. stabbing..pinching.. I got it all. I know it's from that freshman PE incident. Because after it happened.. I crawled to the sideline while all my buddies were dying laughing and no joke I was in so much pain. I could not walk. My Left hip felt like it's burning.. when I got my hernia at 23, the doctor suggested it could be, but didn't think so.. It was more of an exploratory surgery. He closed me back up quick, no mesh or nothing needed. It is so damn agonizing. i Miss working out you don't even know. I feel like no Doc really takes it serious or tries. i been on Pain Meds for way too long. I hate taking them. I try and go many days or weeks as I can, but some days, like today, I can't do without. I want to be active again, not on any med, and be able to live a normal and healthy life. I have tried it all! I am past frustration. I was pre-med, but I was honest and open with some of my medschool interviews that my condition leaves me to be standing a lot than sitting. Sitting is just way too uncomfortable. I am more than confident it was the reason why I was wait listed at the schools I interviewed for. Especially with my honors and EMT/Hospice background. I would give just about anything to find out actually what it is, or fix it. The idea of it being a pitched or herniation seems unfitting given my injury and how the epidurals don't do much. I have an l4/l5 herniated disc, but it's been said it's really not much of anything. Another MRI says it is. IDK. The SI joint shot I got seems fitting when he puts it in there, I can feel that is the area.But shot does nothing. When I stand up a lot of the time, I can feel like left hip pull or tightness.. and I have control of leaning to the opposite side to release that sensation or tightness before it pops. Please help. I am not very open normally, but I am desperate to get this resolved. I want to play basketball and be active again. -MJ

How are you now ? Did you find out what were your issue and did you fix it ?

Never figured out my issue. Have had countless surgeries but still overall very uncomfortable. ​@CheriveProdz

My left hip & left shoulder pops every time I move it . It doesn't hurt but the sound is annoying

@@xaltideinvader I do some stretching exercises everyday, and try not to exhaust the muscles while exercising , mobility training is great
