Thanks for this video. I went to 7 different Orthopedic and none of them had a diagnose for my hip pain. I got x-rays and MRI and they could not find anything wrong. They didn't even mention anything about SHS. We came across this just now after 7 yrs and the pain started to come back as of right now. This was the only thing that made any sense to what is causing my hip pain and clicking. The only way it got rid of it was to keep any weight off the hip so I was on crutches for about 2 months. I was actually doing a lot of yard work about 12 yards of mulching and not sure if that triggered anything to start again. But the pain didn't come until maybe a few days after. I started to walk around 5 miles a day in the winter but haven't been doing it for awhile with having 3 kids and 3 jobs. I am a software engineer and I'm always on the computer and sitting down which I read that could be the culprit of issue of my SHS. Hopefully this is the issue that the orthopedic could not diagnose. Also will this go away after I strengthen it and do the exercise and never come back or is this something I will have to do the rest of my life for it not to come back?

I love popping my hip. people use to look at me weird when i did it. I would stand like push it out and look nuts. it felt so good. I notice it’s only something that happens when I am skinnier. I guess having more weight keeps the joint from popping?

Great video thank you 😊 Can I ask, should the lumbar spine be in slight flexion for the core TA exercise or should it remain neutral when pressing down on the hands?
@MiltonChiropracticClinic3 жыл бұрын
Officially it need to stays neutral. However, many people struggle with finding and keeping neutral, especially if they do the exercises at home, unsupervised. This is why I suggest to place pressure on the hands in order to activate the transverse abdominus. Good luck!!

Hi Roos, zou je wellicht pelvic floor exercises kunnen doen? De pelvic floor gaat over in de buikspieren dus je zou zo dit deel kunnen versterken. Succes ermee!!

I have popping and clicking on my right leg where my femur connects to my hip but I only hear it when I'm doing leg lifts but it's mostly my lower back that concerns me, I hear a cracking sound on my lower back every time I get up from a chair or when I'm standing and I switched directions and it's always on my lower back I think it's from where my hip bone connects to my lower spine? Can I do these exercises to treat both my lower back and my right leg? Also I have osteoporosis is it safe to do these exercises for people with osteoporosis?

Dr. Jasper Hulscher, (The exercise 10 minutes in where you had the hands behind your back) What could one use instead of hands to still get enough pressure while doing this stretch and exercise effectively? Carpal tunnel issues keep me from being able to do it but I know this well be effective. TIA for your reply.
