Started playing this. Can't look past Ambrosius Aurelianus, the real life Arthur. Reformed Britannia pretty quickly but can't end the struggle. Its stuck in the conciliation phase.

This would be a DLC I’d love to have fore Crusader Kings 3. Give earlier timelines for even longer playthroughs and trying to keep the Roman Empire intact or destroy it in its entirety and build a new Empire to control the world.

He also doesn't appear to understand the difference between a defensive war and an offensive war. If both participants have an alliance with a third party they are obviously going to side against the aggressor. That's pure game mechanics not being 'unlucky'.

I struggled myself to get the Iberian Struggle to enter the Hostility phase and get the domination ending. Finally, I was able to „manually“ set it to Hostility by Convening the Council of Toledo as a Mozarabic ruler and vote against what the priests say. Without being aware, that immediately sets the phase to Hostility. Maybe you have access to a similar event or gameplay mechanic?
