SNCF CC7100 From Ree Modeles

Every once in a while, a model comes along that is simply remarkable in every aspect. This has been a pattern for REE Modeles from France, their models are just incredible, we consider them among the best production models on the market. This video showcases the exquisite French class 7100 Electric Locomotive.
The new HO scale CC7100, is a model that is bound to be popular with discriminating modelers of the French rail scene. Fifty-eight CC7100s were supplied by Alsthom and Fives-Lille from 1952-1955. They produced 4800 Horse power and had a maximum speed of 93 MPH..
1955, CC7107 set a new world speed record reaching an incredible speed of 206 MPH. The CC7100s were used in passenger and freight service for nearly 50 years by the SNCF. They served until 2001, some having reached the 6-million-mile mark. CC7107’s 1955 speed record stood for 50 years until being superseded in 2006. The REE Model is a new release which we just received. The model is outstanding consisting of more than 400 individual parts, the CC7100 is a highly-detailed model. 3D scanning was used to capture every detail of the prototype. Of special note are the intricate truck side frames, which must be seen in-hand to be appreciated. The model features sprung buffers, optional motorized pantographs, close coupler mechanisms with NEM coupler pockets, and illuminated cab interiors featuring controls, dashboards, and sunshades. Each REE CC7100 has a 21 pin interface, and digital versions come equipped with an ESU LokSound decoder V4.0. Analog and Digital versions can also be run on 2-Rail DC or 3-Rail AC track. The model’s two-tone horn is loud and clear: it features an 8 channel sound module. A Cannon motor with two large flywheels powers all 6 axles; two with traction tires which can be exchanged for non-traction-tire wheelsets. We recommend a 22 inch radius or larger for the CC7100. Hello, is the red light being operated with separated function instead of automatically on when the loco moves forward? I saw in minute 1:22 the red light is on while the loco moves forward, seems weird though

Yes you can change the lights around via a function key.
