So Xandi insults Barbie on the car ride back to the boat then cries like a victim when Barbie talks back to her. Then everyone consoles a crying Xandi and makes Barbie the bad one. Wow, Xandi has her victim act down to a tee. She deserves an oscar for her performance.

@@annemorgenstern6070 Barbie was the hardest working stew they had, but the moment she took an extra 5 minutes of rest from the last charter; they all acted like she was the laziest woman on the planet. Not only was that completely hypocritical (recall the charter where she was required to work the entire ship by herself, when all of the other stews went to the beach), but it was uncalled for. The season was over, there was virtually no reason to make her feel like a pariah amongst the cast on the return trip from the last night out back to the ship; least of all in front of the cameras. But to have the one confidante Kyle that she sacrificed her personal principles for, to not back her corner; was shameless. He didn't mind tooling around with her when he got what he wanted, yet he had no regrets about constantly embarrassing her when she asked him not to. Then he was quick to turn on her without any remorse when everyone else in the van was attacking her because he didn't want to take the heat.

Ben and Fraser just too infuriating to watch. Bad start with the Captain believing Fraser in the beginning about his crew. You have a crew and they all have to do their job and people come from all walks of life. They are there to work and get paid and not treated helpless and Fraser is not there to gossip and create animosity with his crew. Somehow the Captain could not get a grip on Fraser and Ben they began to run him. He should demote them both rather than just let this season pass.

I have never liked either Ben or Fraser. I think it was clear from the beginning both had an agenda. It does seem that most viewers are in agreement in regards to each; no one cares for their behavior or stirring of the pot to get what they want. They clearly both took advantage of Captain Kerry. He put his trust in each. Ben has the nerve to claim that the Captain was micro-managing; and yet if that was the case how is it that the Captain was completely oblivious to Ben's relationship with his subordinate Barbie after he promoted Ben? The Captain put his faith in Ben, and Ben thoroughly betrayed that trust. Ben should not only be kicked off all future Below Deck series, but kicked off all yachting crews as he clearly does not know when and where to draw the line from high end yachting to dereliction of duty and abuse of power. Meanwhile, Fraser was a jerk on previous seasons, not sure why anyone ever expected that to change this season. I'd say that this was definitely his worst showing yet. Give him a little bit of authority and it goes completely to his head. He manipulated all of his subordinate stews either to push them off of the boat, put them in their place because they didn't treat him like the god he felt he should be, or to do his behind the scenes dirty work to further stir the pot. His worst behavior though seems to be in his interactions with both Chef Anthony and Chef Ryan. Someone should have at some point explained to him Chief Stew is still outranked by Ship's Chef. The Chef's galley is his/her domain, and he or she gets to run it as they see fit. The chef does not need plating recommendations from a glorified waiter, nor does he need cuisine recommendations beyond reminders of the individual guests preferences. Was it not ironic in the last charter when the primary complained that there was too much salt in the dish, that he kept telling the chef that it was not salty enough? In fact he either deliberately or mistakenly told Chef Ryan that twice when she made the complaint. When given the wrong information, Chef Ryan adjusted his salting of the primary's dish to be even saltier resulting in added criticism. Nice going Fraser; sabotage the new cook, and infuriate the client. If the Chef cannot trust the Chief Stew to be honest about their reactions to his cooking, why should he ever trust them on plating advice? The Chief Stew's sole responsibility when it comes to the food is to see that it is served in a timely fashion. That entails helping the chef organize his cook times to match up with the stew's serving times.

I suspect he just put up with it to get through the short duration that he was hired for. But when she totally went off the rails on that first beach luncheon, he had had enough, and wisely brought it to the Captain's attention. The Captain then made it quite clear to Paris that she had had no place in questioning the chef's decisions; he being a 3 bar chef and she a 1 bar stewardess. Still, after acknowledging her questionable behavior realizing how quickly that it got her into trouble, she returned to her disrespectful ways. Seems to be a fairly common problem with this youngest generation. Many have grown up so entitled that they think they know best, and should be given the same authority as though who have been in the working world for decades. I do believe though that she got many of her queue's from Fraser who has instigated one problem after another all season long. In my opinion, he is among the worst that has ever been on the series.

Apparently Ben now has a beef with Captain Kerry, and refuses to work with him again. Talk about ungrateful. He started the season as a deckhand. But didn't hesitate to sabotage his bosum Jared to the point that Jared was let go. Thing is Jared was a pretty decent fellow; could have used some managerial tips and maybe some support from his team. But he did not deserve to be fired. Least of all when it was clear that Ben deliberately hid orders given by the Captain from Jared, but acted like Jared should have known what was said; I highly doubt all of that interaction got cut on the Bravo editing floor as he implies. Total snake in the grass. Jared is pushed off of the boat, Ben gets his job and acts like he knows everything there is to know about yachting. Yet, at no point does he break off his relationship with Barbie who suddenly became his subordinate. Totally unprofessional behavior that should have immediately gotten him reprimanded, then fired if it continued. That is an abuse of power that no organization in the modern world tolerates, and for the very reasons displayed by Ben in his manipulations over Barbie. As for Paris, apparently she thinks having a pretty face is all it takes to climb the ladder to the point that she out ranks the ship's chef. Hopefully she will not be back next season, and if she is, she will have learned a little bit about humility; a little bit about rank and decorum, and a little bit about knowing when it is appropriate to question the decisions of the expert in her lack of knowledge.

I crewed on a tall ship for 4 years, and I figured out very quickly that if you can't follow the "Chain of Command" then you just won't last. Or get asked back. It starts with the Captain who you have to respect and perform your assigned "job duties" according to your position on the ship. There is a time for fun and games and personal down time. But never before the ship is secured and prepped for the next days activities. These 25 year old wannabe fboys like Ben who looks like a chipmunk, and whose priority seems to be chasing tail will eventually end up punching tickets and selling snow cones on the dock. 🤣

On previous seasons, on all the franchises, people have commented about certain roommates being cool about not having tidy cabins or one complaining that the other hasn't kept their side clean. Cabin inspections are a bit of both. Keep in mind that it is a multi-million dollar yacht. The crew that serve on board are essentially only longer staying guests on board someone else's very expensive property. They get paid to be there and work, but as is the case in any job, the tidiness of your work station is a reflection upon both you and your employer. Not maintaining their quarters properly is akin to not caring about the owner's interest in keeping his or her ship in tip-top shape.

@@audaciousred Probably because Below Deck has never drawn attention to the regular and routine inspection process in the past; there is only so much content that they can fit in a one hour episode. I think they did so this time to make it openly clear how Ben and Kyle deliberately and brazenly disobeyed a direct order that the Captain made prior to the last charter of the season. When the Captain had seen a declining level of attention to detail, he called it out as a captain is wont to do. Once he has given an order, he should be safe to anticipate that it will be fulfilled without question. The level of performance should remain stellar from the first day of the season to the last.

These guests were very chill & Resp ectable! They were being viewed as “not good enough to be aboard that yacht!” That’s exactly why Chas Nick called them “n****ers” right??

Why because she didnt like a veg item and wanted no salt in her food?...terrible! 😱 You can always tell when people have never worked in service, these guests were perfectly fine, the crew's comments and dismissal of the primary who was paying their wages was not fine and I hope they dont have this crew back again.

Big time. I think most of them were actors. We all know reality shows are not reality but this season was so fake
