Gruinard Island aka Anthrax Island is in the North West of Scotland and was contaminated in Anthrax when it was used as a testing site for biological weapons.

Yeah, I think up until there was a fire there in 2022 a farmer grazed his sheep there. The goverment removed the top soil, soaked the soil underneath with sea water and formaldehyde and then when the grasses grew back, they monitored the island by placing sheep there for a few years and monitering them daily. Then they removed all the signage and declared it safe.

If you want to find another deadly island, just go to the vozrozhdeniya island. In 1971 smallpox virus were accidentally released over the island that infected 10 people. 3 of the people infected died So i wouldn't recommend going into that island unless you are a daredevil Edit 1: vozrozhdeniya is in aral sea near uzbekistan and kazakhstan Edit 2: its was used by the soviet union biological weapon group. The facility is called Aralsk-7

The actual Anthrax Island was declared safe by GB and Scotland in 1990 They spent months digging up the soil and pouring formaldehyde into it to make the island safe; then let sheep walk around the island and confirmed it was safe. You guys didn't properly fit any of your hazmat gear to walk on an island declared safe to be on. You called Anthrax a deadly chemical; when Anthrax is a lethal biological agent and most victims take days to die. Great Britain owns the original Anthrax island; which is Scottish territory. You can't pass this island off as Rebirth Island either; Rebirth Island is a desert island surrounded by dried sea. There is so much anthrax on Rebirth Island that you wouldn't survive being there. This video is not real. [Edit] Want even more proof it isn't real? They don't bother wearing gloves or use the neck covers from their hoods on their hazmat suits; claiming they had only 5 minutes to stay on the island before they died. Anthrax enters your body through any orifice it can attach to; but primarily the lungs. These guys came out on a small boat with no decontamination kits for Anthrax and Anthrax is notoriously hard to kill. There is no such thing as time before death setting foot on Anthrax Island; your time to die is when you start displaying symptoms from it entering your body and starting mitosis in your cells. They didn't even bother properly fitting their masks and you can tell because one of them got water in his mask... If this place was a real Anthrax covered island these guys wouldn't remotely be allowed to go home after setting foot on the island; as the world's known Anthrax hot spots are heavily monitored and guarded. On 24 April 1990, after 48 years of quarantine and four years after Formaldehyde was applied, junior defence minister Michael Neubert visited the island and announced its safety by removing the warning signs. On 1 May 1990, the island was repurchased by the heirs of the original owner for the original sale price of £500, subsequently selling on to Whitehall Chambers Trustees Ltd. The island is private property and you are therefore breaking the law by trespassing.

So... A few things to address... I liked this video, but at the end shot I noticed the two people to the side of the main guy, (Look at the bottom of the gas masks), didn't have filters, which means that there was no safety in wearing them for the other two. The second thing, the gas masks they were wearing were Russian GP-5's, aka the gas masks with asbestos. So the gas masks were toxic themselves, and for the other two didn't do anything.

I hope you've got the right filter. There is a fatal diverence between a 40mm Gost filter and a 40mm Nato filter. If you use a Nato filter, the mask doesn't seal properly.
