I think I could say the same for the entire soundtrack of the Castlevania franchise. Castlevania is a prime example of how music can be so important in a video game. The main scalpers are probably in cahoots with Nintendo. Nintendo supplies them with stock while limiting stock to mainstream suppliers so they get to increase demand and sell the same product at a much higher price. It's probably all just a scam that they do with most of their products (Switch, Amibos etc).

I'm pissed at Nintendo for the NES mini discontinuation and limited supply, so i'm not getting the SNES mini unless they make an abundant supply. Also no Chrono Trigger.. why? WHy!!? I want to be excited for this, but I have very low expectations given Nintendo's supply of past popular releases falling well short of meeting demand. Wii was almost impossible to find in my area until late 2008-mid 2009. amiibo in general were near impossible to find at retail when they first started, and in some cases they still are depending on the franchise (I'm looking at you various Zelda amiibo I need for BOTW). Switch is currently impossible to find. Never found an NES Mini. So I seriously doubt I'll ever see an SNES Mini either.

I hope it gets hacked and loaded with most of the rest of the snes library just like NES classic. I'm not saying they shouldn't make money from old IPs. I'm fine with the things existence I just prefer collecting + using RetroArch+Ice or custom steam icons with my steam link and Famicom usb controllers. Horipad Xbox 1 for PS1 and newer. I still have. Wii with GC ports, N64 and PS2 though I don't like the way those systems emulate. Still buy newer consoles and games too like Wii U, 3DS. PS4/Xbox are just out of my price range I'd rather play more work less.

I personally prefer the "ugly" US version to the generic square. It's unmistakably a Super NES. The colored buttons look nice, I'll give it that, but otherwise the PAL design looks boring.

Not only does the North american version of the SNES look uuuuggggllyy as fuck (what cancer-ass pooped this purple design crap anyway?) but also the Mega Drive looks terrible in the North American version. This "GENESIS" logo makes it look like a bootlegged chinese no-name company re-branded something. It seems for some weird reason the US & Canada market needed something… to make them feel they are the only ones on this planet and the rest of the world is not existing. The sleek design of the SNES, with it's rounded edges, looks great even today. It has aged pretty good. Too bad these yankees will never understand it. lol

Meh; unless they start having working cartridge slots in these, I think they truly need to just stop wasting extra production they could be putting elsewhere. There's lots of great games for the NES (referring to the NES mini they released not so long ago), along with the SNES, that get left behind, aren't included, and unless somebody hacks it somehow and does boot-leg/homebrew, they can't play on the console. Rather than spending a large price on the mini-console for 21 games, a person could just emulate the same games... for free. Now if they had working cartridge slots to encourage people to game-hunt and get the classics on cartridge, with a means to play them (since most old consoles need a lot of upkeep or have just conked out from age), then it'd truly be worthwhile. -_-

I feel it won't sell as much as the NES mini. NES mini really appealed to a wider audience, I dont see anyone apart from hardcore Nintendo fans buying this.NES mini had a much larger audience with some of the most iconic games in history that even adults not fond of videogames today would want to replay from their childhood. Games like Super Mario Bros and Contra, appeal more to the casual gamer or someone wanting to relive the past, can't really that audience wanting games that you'd need to put in like 50 hours into like FF3 or Chrono Trigger. Also fuck you Nintendo for not putting Dragon Quest on SNES mini /classic .
