Its 1994, my dad get home with this in hands. We play a lot together! And we got good! We eventualy figured out that Megabeam was to be used Before the last stage and save the shields to the last stage to not get exploded in the walls!!! So we killed the "core" and tought "thats it? one hit kill?" 😅😮😂❤ Love this game!

I found it. I finally found my childhood game. I was searching YEARS for this game. I always thought it was Raiden, but this name I really don’t remember at all. Nevertheless so happy that I found it. The game, the power-ups, the soundtrack, everything was amazing about this game!!!!

It's more of a shooting gallery with selectable weapons than an interactive experience. It was fun for the diversity of subweapons, though.

Nishant Gogna, in my opinion, the best shoot 'em up on the SNES. I spent countless hours playing the shit out of it as a kid, and I still play it today on my phone, along with the original Top Gear.

I used to play this with a friend as a kid. It took me years to remember it and ultimately find it! Somehow I always remembered the OST. I swear some of these bosses' armor was made of Gundanium lmao.

Amazing soundtrack and sound quality for the time. For me the sound quality of the Snes is comparable to the 32 bit generation, psone Saturn. Was ahead of the 16 bit generation.

Here's mine Level 1:Antiair Mine Level 2:Sonic Shooter Level 3:Sonic Wave Level 4:Plasma Shield Level 5:Atomic Missile(or Comrade Fighter,i could never decide) Level 6:Laser Cannon Level 7:Megabeam Cannon Level 8:doesn't matter you only use your normal shoot,(I usually pic the autoaim vulcain)

me and my friend from middle school would walk home from school together 45 minute walk and play games like this one and many others from snes. great times. the ending to this game is cool game play strategy about picking weapons and the weapoons themselves were fun etc.

Nice job man, we have very different strategies of weapon use but I like yours. This game is WAY easier with 2 players, the bosses on 6 and 7 go down so quickly with the jointed cannon mode.

@KiethSomataw99 I see the speed of the bullets and he isnt exactly playing in the hardes mode, at hard mode (otaku mode or lv4... yeah, in 1 version of STG, it names hardest level, "otaku mode" lol) the bullets are insanely fast, even from 1st stage Also, try to kill the 7th boss without megabeam, its almost impossible not losing a single life against him

nope, u can go with plasma shield trolling all the stage without problem, the thing comes if u don't syncronize it well when its over and u gotta use it again, in that little instant its when the wall kills u
