Just started watching the video. I really wish people would check the controller settings for this game when they first start. The button mapping is configurable, so you can make playing it more comfortable.

to make the wall jump, you have to push the wall first. while you are pushing the wall fordward quickly turn back and jump again at the same time. it's the same principle for either side. you don't have to press up on the d-pad, just right and left d-pad and jump button is all you need.

Awesome 1st play, this is the way! Also, preset controls for this game were rough, I always have to change my angle up and down buttons. AM2R is incredible, I own a copy and it's hard to find but would HIGHLY recommend playing it, even if you can't stream it 😪
