Riton is doing stuff man. Solid optics.

Thanks Frank there seems to be a lot of new scope companies out there these days. Please tell them we need the "old sniper on Social Security price". Always good to see you out there my friend. Take care, Vern

I have a Leupold 4.5 x 14 with a MilDot setup , it’s still a great scope after 20 years of service

@@talkingrock7011 There's a saying, you either buy the warranty or an actual quality scope.
@tucobenedicto1780 Жыл бұрын
I like the glass quality on Riton scopes. The only thing is my Conquer 7 magnification collar became stuck on 24x (highest power) on my 3rd trip to the range and when I sent it in for warranty repair, Riton said there was no warranty because it was bought at an overseas Riton vendor. Turns out there's a warranty difference based on where you purchase. Sucks that I now have a brand new scope-shaped boat anchor lol.

This is exactly one of the main reasons I won't buy anything Riton brand no matter how cheap they go on sale for. They seem to have had planned to screw their customers over when it comes to honoring their own written exchange for new scope no receipt needed lifetime warranty. There's other BS companies that don't honor their own lifetime warranty everyone needs to avoid also. The Riton 7 4-32x56 are selling for $649.98 with free shipping at Euro Optic and Scopelist. There have been numerous reports about terrible quality and scope failures as well with the Japan made Ritons and their Chinese ones as well. There's even been numerous reports of Riton not honoring their warranty even when purchased from an authorized Riton dealer so it was actually planned to screw everyone over after they already got your money hope you paid $649.99 and not $1000 for your boat anchor.

Where exactly did you buy your Riton 7 Conquer from?

I like that reticle. This scopes on the top of my list

Nice. I really need to pick up one of those scope tools.
@whomagoose68973 жыл бұрын
When I began my adventures of precision rifle shooting. I thought the only good scopes were either Leupold or Zeiss. Now I can barely choose from all the choices. Then all the reticle choices to make. The first time I saw the many Horus reticles I had to say WTF! The more I learned about M-rads the Horus made sense. All I knew was Mil-radians were for calculating directions for mortar gunnery fire. And a little about MOA's to adjust the front & rear iron sights on my M-16a1 rifle. No red-dot optics, no lazer optics, nor magnified optics were available. None of which was invented yet. Best thing about firearms of any type is there's always something to learn. There's no end to it. Always something new to keep you interested.

Many of these are artificial options as they come from the same factory in Asia under different names.

Just look at Brownells scope , remind you of any thing
@commonsense57099 ай бұрын
@@jackbauer7742 Brownells, Blackhound Emerge, Apex Rival, Riton all made at the same factory unfortunately they are not made by the superior Light Optical Works LOW factory.

Thanks Frank, nice video. I think all scope companies are doing a good job on scopes but are lazy and can install an LED you can read inside the scope (1 for each elevation click and R/L for windage clicks) instead of having to read the knobs! I would prefer to keep my eye on target.

I hope it tracks well during the live fire , you get what you pay for and I expect quality for my money
@LKN4WAR3 жыл бұрын
That is pretty reasonable cost for what you are getting. Nice jig for tracking. Are those for sale somewhere? Bought your book and own the badger but the tall pic rail and heavy base is very nice.

Always look forward to your videos and you use the opening song quite a bit.. who is that??
@louiscapasso44523 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the video on this scope, I've been waiting for a good review on this brand. Any chance you could check out the X5 and let us know what you think?
@D703403 жыл бұрын
I bought the X5 Conquer 5-25x50. I couldnt be more pleased. The glass is outstanding. Tracking is spot on. Shot after shot, it stays put. The only 2 things that are a pet peave of mine, the reticle, and that fixed adjustment lever. They should make a lever that can be moved. Big fail on their end. I`m not a huge fan of the reticle. Lines are extremely large on full power, and the very tiny on lowest power. Other than that, its tough to beat it for the money.

can you test a maven rs4 5-30x56

Frank, there is a slight mistake on your video. The scope is a “Conquer” not “Conquests”

What are your thoughts on the Tract Toric FFP 4.5-30x56 34 mm MRAD?
@SHLowlight3 жыл бұрын
They have been decent, the ones we have seen and tested
@commonsense5709 Жыл бұрын
The Tract Toric ELR absolutely smokes this Riton. You need to venture off past the $2000 range of scopes to match the Toric. There also has been numerous QC issues with Riton and I think it's why they are selling for less than half price lately. It's extremely difficult to believe their higher end models are actually made in Japan based on the reported poor QC and reliability issues.

Is it worth $500-$600? (Lowest prices they were selling it for) Does it clearly state made in Japan on the actual body of the scope?

LOL is it worth $500, sure it is, yes it says Japan but honestly look elsewhere

RITON 5 CONQUER or VECTOR CONTINENTAL or VORTEX STRIKR EGLE ZEISS V6 or LEUPOLD MARK 5 Help!..?
@commonsense5709 Жыл бұрын
Vortex Razor gen 3 or Zeiss or Tract Toric ELR and nothing from CHINA unless it's specifically an Athlon Midas Tac or Ares BTR or ETR.
@commonsense5709 Жыл бұрын
I personally wouldn't buy a Riton based on how many different prices they are selling the same models for and some places even for 70% off they must be really desperate to dump them. Do your research you may find not so favorable real world reviews on the brand. The Riton X3 6-24x50 my friend bought and paid $100 brand new for said he wouldn't buy it for more than $100 for what it is knowing it's possible it won't be reliable.
@chloroquine992 жыл бұрын
Is that $1750 price correct??? I thought it was 1/3 or even 1/4 of that.
@commonsense57099 ай бұрын
$499.99 for the 3-24x 7 Conquer and $649.99 4-32x version at Scopelist and Euro Optic. Beware the Riton company may not honor their own warranty though.
