True. Whats even more bizarre is the law suit his family filed was thrown out or dismissed. When the government and BOP failed him in that they owed him a duty to protect him while he remained under the government prison system care and control. The government knew exactly what was going on there. And they simply fucked him over and put him in harms way for what they knew would happen an it did. Now it would be wrong had there been some way his spirit could somehow cause an explosion at every last one of the agencies offices and their homes blow them shits the fuck up for failing him after he helped them in a case. I do not in any way condone snitching period. I understand why some people end up snitching. Is it right NO! Barnes MIGHT NOT have killed the dude or pulled the trigger but barnes definitely kicked in his door and broke into the man's house trying to Rob him. Barnes was in the other room when the shooting happened. So Barnes is still guilty by association. The ONLY reason Barnes snitched is because he wanted less time. He was hoping 3 years or 5 years at the most WITH supervision. Barnes wasn't sorry about what happened. Barnes just didn't wanna do serious LONG TIME. So he started snitching and throwing everybody under the bus if that meant he would get LESS time. But it backfired and the government left him hanging. Once they got his statement, they washed their hands because they didn't need him anymore. Why is Barnes family trying to file a lawsuit for his murder, when BARNES was involved with a murder? He is not innocent. Whatever goes around, comes around. Where was his family when HE kicked in a man's door with 3 other dudes? And, being an ex convict, myself, this is EXACTLY what the average "patriot" in this country doesn't understand. That THIS is the people that YOU serve - that are running this country - that ALLOW this to happen to so many people including those that don't deserve it. This is not a fair country where human rights are protected or respected as they should be and all the politicians and heartless people that they employ to run this country are responsible for their lack of responsibility. I do agree, though, that even in prison, you learn that if you don't like it, then don't come to prison, true... But it shouldn't be that way. People lose their lives in prison because the government leave inmates in the power of corrupt officials. Y'all don't really know how they let inmates be unhealthy and neglect them. And there's no one to call because no one will help... the ones you would normally call - the police- the ones you would normally rely on to do justice and protect you...are the ones who are leaving inmates in violent circumstances...What I'm saying is that, it's all what's fair and justice, and that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime...until AFTER inmates leave the court room...you civilians really have no idea what it's like to be left trapped and having to protect your life's every second of every day..by your own government...That's when you truly understand the type of people that are running this country....They are NOT fair, they are NOT just.....they're just as corrupt, ignorant and heartless as any convict...and the guards count on you messing up and being stuck in there, so they neglect you and treat you less than human....I can't tell you the look on one of the guards' faces that I bumped into after I was released from prison... Saw the dude at the grocery and approached him just to say hi.....he looked at me like he saw a ghost...because every one of those guards worst fear is having to face a convict that they treated like shit while they once incarcerated....All I'm saying is the government that you praise, defend and support are just as ruthless as any convict you'll ever encounter. FUCK PATRIOTISM because this government doesn't care about no one.

This is why our justice system is so f’d & people shouldn’t trust it. Never talk or cooperate without a lawyer present because: 1. Investigators are allowed to lie & manipulate you do not trust them. 2. If they’re pushing you to snitch it’s likely because their case so far is weak & they need you to strengthen it. 3. Prosecutors are motivated beyond getting justice for victims to win, losses & wins are a reflection of their job performance. So, you’re only an asset to them until they secure a conviction. 5. If you decide to cooperate do not do so until you are offered a deal by the DA but even then be cautious because judges don’t have to honor it.

This is inaccurate as far as DC residents automatically being placed into the Federal Bureau of Prisons. What really happened was most DC inmates went to Lorton or Red Onion, the prisons for DC. There was so much corruption because DC is so small that inmates would find themselves locked up in a prison where family and close friends were the administration. Therefore both prisons were closed down and all DC inmates were thrown into the BOP. All at the same time. The BOP didnt have complete records on those inmates because they came from a totally different system so a lot of killing happened when enemies got placed on the same yards. That's what really happened.
