And we can't help it that he lied about his college/teen years earlier, and now his word is being put in doubt. If all he did was drink beer exessively, then he could be open about that from the start. It's not an uncommon vice in college/high school, and does not disqualify you from any careers. But if you lie about not/hardly ever drinking beer when you were young, while under accusations of sexual misconduct during that time. Then yeah, things start looking suspicious.

Even if Kavanaugh did none of the things he was accused of, he did not (in my opinion) present himself very well. He seemed unable to hold back his anger and properly answer questions, which made him appear very childish. It makes sense that he’s upset (especially if being wrongly accused), but as a judge his actions reflected badly on him. But, for a fact, he lied about Devil’s triangle being a drinking game, he said that all 4 of his and Ford’s mutual friends have denied the story, which was a lie coz one of them has said he remembers some parts of Ford’s narrative and is cooperating with the FBI. Lastly if he hasn’t done anything then why didn’t he say that he wants an FBI interrogation, why dodge the question? Another words you don't realize the comment you made has been made on women's behalf for centuries and yet there told because of the way they acted they won't be taken seriously. When in reality men in power already made up their minds about that previously and just laid in wait to say some excuse that sounds legit like that. Excuse me if I say the word...hypocrite. If I am wrong then take a look at that comment again and realize that is an age old excuse that should not be said if you are not ready to say that about a woman too. @@lennyrose5852 Erik Frost ok so here's the thing tho: there is no lack of free speech. Television is about ratings and the SNL audience is generally not composed of Trump supporters. @lennyrose5852
@lennyrose5852 6 жыл бұрын
deathburrito23 That still makes them hypocritical. Being a pretty liberal show, showcasing progressivism and making fun of the right for being “oppressive”. When they intimidate and bully a man for wearing a hat with no obscenities or nudity? You find nothing wrong with that because it would have been bad for theyre ratings? A man speaks his mind and they cut away and ban his speech. And your logic is “what were they supposed to do?” I’m not crazy about Kanye but it just baffles me how you or anyone else is fine with them doing that to someone. That’s totally fascist and hypocritical of them, but here you are saying “it’s just business”. Would you or the rest of the Democratic Party be ok with it if a very liberal musician went on a Republican tv show and was bullied and her speech banned? Would it be fine then, if it would for you then how do you think you’re party would react? It’s not the networks fault is it? Their ratings would take a dive so it’s just business, they can do whatever they want. Even though they preach about freedom of expression and bash the opposite party for being fascist. Surely not hypocritical at all

Nice job, SNL did good that time. The reality was even worse. Matt did an awesome job...he caught the ridiculous crying, whine about his calendars and his belligerent attitude. The Graham impression was lacking, frankly it was so theatrical in reality, couldn’t compete. Ugh and Kav’s whiny voice, so annoying.

5 years later and this is still my favorite SNL skit. And honestly an Oscar worthy performance from Matt Damon 😂

This is actually doubly ironic considering Matt Damon is a spokesperson for Stella Artois (beer company) and did a commercial with them about water 😂😂

The sad truth is, Matt's portrayal of Kavanaugh wasn't as horrifyingly hysterical as the real thing.

@Nathalya Nana so now our society's definition of 'humor' has come to mocking a man on mainstream media who's been falsely accused of rape. Who's reputation and family are being damaged without a shred of evidence... SNL disgusts me.

@@ryanr812 what can I say? It's hard to trust anything or anyone in America. Everybody is pointing fingers, news are biased and politics is full of hypocrisy and double standards. So I don't see how satire is a problem since everything else in the country is problematic.
