Really good break, super smooth cueing and you are obviously cueing straight or else the balls wouldn't pot, and you had two tough long pots to test your cueing at long distance and you managed it with ease. I wouldn't worry about this head movement or cueing to the side business. But if you are concerned I would go and seek a grade A wpbsa coach. Barry stark has videos on how to check if your hitting the cue ball with sidespin. The best way to test that is the hit the cue ball along the baulk line NOT on the long brown, blue, pink and black spots and that's because if you hit the cue ball with side spin up and down the whole table a degree of side spin by the time it reaches the cushion near the black spot it can die out and thus make it look like your hitting centre ball where as if you hit it on the baulk line any slight degree of side spin will immediately make the cue ball deviate off the baulk line and that's hitting the cue ball really slowly. And just to note Judd Trump always dips his head slightly sideways after every shot, with no cue power or big cue power and kyren Wilson jerks his body on all his shots. So this head movement isn't a big concern unless you want to find a way to eliminate it.
Your head cam videos are alot smoother and delight to watch.

Great little videos. I'm finding it very difficult to get a 50 break, and to be honest, this routine in general. I presume it's quite common for this to be really testing when new? Only 6 months on and off so far. Like with everything, I presume there's an easier route to take when trying to increase your break on this routine..?

great cueing. That pink to yellow positional play was so unlucky. Would’ve had to have been an amazing shot on the yellow with incredible positional play to get around that. Maybe navigating 2 cushions to get back up or leaving yourself on a tricky green. Well played at 104 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Hey i was just wondering if you know what size your pockets are? Everything i read says they should be 86 mm's wide. When i went to california last summer i got to play snooker for the first time. I knew right away something was wrong. I know snooker is very hard but unless i had an almost straight in pot the balls would not go in the pockets. So i measured the pockets and they were 64 mm's. Theres no way they should be that small is it? I couldnt imagine. It was almost impossible to play.

I'm not sure Benji. Not been back to this club since December due to lockdown restrictions. I'll check next time I'm there. They're back open now but I'm waiting on my cue to be repaired 👍 I'll be in touch

@@CueBald hey thank you. Im just curious as to what the pockets measure that most people play on. I have not played alot of snooker but i play pool almost everyday and im an above average pool player. I absolutely know the pockets i was playing on were just way too small. I would set up shots from all different angles and even just at the slightest angle it was next to impossible to pot a ball. And even difficult if you were straight on. I played on another table the pockets were 83 mm's and it was so much better. But 64 mm's was just about impossible. Yah if you find out just let me know. Thanks.

Hi tv the table size it very small so yes depends on the cut of the table some are very big and small are very small people don’t realise I’ve been on tables with very difficult pockets and some a lot easier

Your cue tip always points to the left of the cue ball. You always move your head to the right after playing each shot.
@Breakfromlife5 жыл бұрын
That’s all right. Your cue is arching from right to left as you play shots. If I had to guess I would say your arm is tucking into your body a bit. Might be the reason you are playing shots with left hand side. Might not but is worth thinking about
@amarsbarr5 жыл бұрын
@@Breakfromlife actually it's probably the head movement which is obviously body movement which is making the cue tip slightly to the left. It's not the arm!!!
