Nice video..im really struggling with the line up..you seem to align the cue then dtop your head to it without moving the cue. Please explain the best way of doing this as im sure im missing everything through bad line up. Im right handed with a dominant left eye that makes it worse!!

Hi John , I’ve started playing this game for two years and now I am addicted to it. But I am still not settle with one method of my two methods. When I prepare a shot, 1. As I move cue under my chin,I can see the path of cue’s as it moves back and forward. 2. I don’t see the path of the cue, but only the object ball. The problem with my first method was I end up leaning whole my heads in lil awkward position to put my left eye directly above the cue. Since I am new to this game, I don’t know which method should I stick with as I am not too sure which method to choose. I think I can improve my game much better if I settle with one technique. I am pretty sure that my elbow and arms are stable and right method. When you deliver the shot, do you see the path of cue as if it was running from you eye ? Sorry for weird question. But I haven’t seen any videos explaining about that , rather they says your not cueing it straight. Please help me pick a method for me.Thank you very much.
@JohnTF6 жыл бұрын
Tenzin Singey hi Tenzin, I’d recommend trying to keep your cue in the middle of your chin if you can. I takes a lot of practice but you want to be able to consistently repeat your technique every shot without thinking consciously about what you’re doing. If you can make sure your cue is on the line of the shot then all you have to do is deliver the cue straight and you will pot the ball.

i noticed your cue twisted during the cue action. the arrow on the shaft before shot is different than after the shot. it turns to the right. is this okay ? i have the same habit of doing it and some of my friends are telling me not to. need your advice on this. thanks
@JohnTF7 жыл бұрын
Aemil Heykal it doesn't seem to give me and trouble, if you can't avoid it then stick with it for sure
@yushrajcoomar93847 жыл бұрын
Aemil Heykal the perfect cueing technique implies that your cue travels in a straight line whilst hitting the cue ball. twisting the cue upon impact may end up putting unwanted side on your cue ball and messing up your shot. but whatever floats your boat bro. if you twist it and it still travels in a straight line, then great!

Is it the camera that makes it look like you have a really long bridge, or do you just have a long bridge?
@JohnTF7 жыл бұрын
matthew ryder it's the camera angle, I have a fairly standard bridge length, maybe even shorter than average. As a rough guide it should be somewhere around 10-12 inches.

Yes, it's standard from the builders merchants, just put tape round the outside to protect the edges. It reduces electricity bill and allows me to turn the heaters down a little bit while I'm not there.
