I'm from Jackson MS. My grandmother and grandfather worked for Jackson State it is great for our city and State. My grandparents would be so proud and happy for Prime time, I went to a lot of programs at Jackson State so I know the campus well. Well his coaching staff has 84 years coaching and playing experience combined Deion says and I think Terrell Owens and Warren Sapp are going to be assistant coaches! Just imagine Deion, Warren, and Terrell going on recruiting visits and going into people homes wearing their NFL Hall of Fame jackets and wearing their NFL division and Superbowl rings telling athletes I can give you the tools to be where I've been already ! What other college can step in like that ! It's going to be a game changer for recruiting for Jackson State!

Not just on fooball fields, HBCUs put the THE BEST TALENT in Courtrooms, Boardrooms, Surgeon Tables, Doctors Offices, Clinical Laboratories, and etcetera ETCETERA!!! Should've been doing this a long tine ago. Every kid doesn't have to go to the next level! Most kids just need somewhere to go after high school is over to further their education. I personally think HBCUS have to invest more in high school athletes that don't come from major cities because its alot of talent out in west Texas that never get looked at. Remember Friday night lights?! The lights are still on in west Texas....

I'm a JSU alum....and I am glad to see Prime Time here at home. I agree with Snoop....his presence has already uplifted Jackson. So many coaches have passed over talent right in our state....did so when I was in H.S. I hope that in recruiting they look in state first and venture out second....its a WHOLE BUNCH of talented athletes right here in the capital city. God bless what he is doing and working on doing.

For all of those minority celebrities sitting courtside at the Lakers games and such. If you don't make your appearance on an HBCU sideline you should be written off. If enough celebrities show up Jackson the other HBCU's will fall in line an hire head coaches like Emmitt, Jerry Rice, Bo Jackson, and players of this caliber. these VIP's should be giving their donations to these schools also.
