So I put my heated grip kit on my new Deluxe. We didn’t get the snow in Illinois like other parts did last week. Got to use my machine and test grips a little bit though. Grips get nice and warm and machine seems great so far. I noticed that my machine only has the Halogen headlight. Turns out, after contacting Ariens, some machines didn’t get the LED light due to parts shortages. However, they are sending me the LED kit free in the mail. I’m glad I looked into it. I look forward to your review after you get it into the snow.

@@SevenFortyOne Oh yeah. I emailed them on Christmas night, they called me straight from HQ in Wisconsin the next morning. I was really impressed. I was also asking them about the Snow cab. I’m 6’ 2”, and was worried I’m too tall for it. If you end up getting the Ariens cab for yours, you should do a video on it. There really isn’t a lot of info on KZbin that I’ve found. Keep the snowblower and power equipment content coming. Your two videos on the Ariens were very helpful.

@@dishsoap1 I got the drift cutters and will make a video on them once I get enough snow to try them out. Glad you enjoyed my snowblower videos so far!

You know your getting old when you need heated grips. LOL! I remember when I never needed gloves, now I can't walk to the car without them.

I don't think there's any SKU with heated grips for any or the 24" Ariens blowers, so even if you buy a new blower at a box box store, you'd need to buy this kit and install it yourself. An Ariens full service dealer could install the kit for you when you buy the blower and you could take delivery of your new blower complete with the grip kit installed.

I noticed these on Amazon for $115! WTF? I did much better than that. I ordered a pair of grip heaters ($25) that go under the hand grips. The stick to the handlebars and you slide the grips back on over them. If you machine has a headlight wire, you can power the grips with that or do as I did and use my M18 Milwaukee battery to power the grips. I orders the battery plug (from Amazon) to plug my battery into. A small 1-1/2 amp battery is all you need or if you're blowing snow all day, you may need a higher amp battery.

Did I do it wrong? What's different about it? I'm not following....
@aa3konthego2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely nothing wrong. Just different from your radio oriented videos. Didn't even know such things were available. Heck Didn't even know I could put a headlight on my snow blower until I read the manual. I was on the web looking for one 7 nanoseconds after reading about it.
