Snow removal! John Deere vs. Newholland! Which one is better?

Having watched your videos for a long time I prefer the New Holland! It would be interesting to know if the altitude affects the 2 machines differently. We have a New Holland Skid Steer with a 10' pusher plow (up, down only) and 8.5' regular plow with automatic wings (up, down, left, right). I prefer the regular plow as it is more versatile and lighter.

Depends on what you are looking to use them for. For snow ploughing , i guess it would be driver comfort. Both great machines. My preference would be the JD

Whilst both do the job equally well, the Newholland appears to be smoother and quieter than the John Deere.

Should be smoother, because its "just" a 6r110 and the NH is a t6 180 a comparison with the 6r 185 would be more fitting😋

@@KaerntnerLandwirtschaftist nicht ganz richtig. Der T6.180 hat nur 150 ps. mit boost hat er 180 ps. Gegen den 6R 185 hat der keine Chance. 185 PS. Mit boost 234 PS

I don’t know how long your snow route is, but the New Holland seems to be a smoother quieter ride. How is the comfort inside between the two tractors for you?

Both tractors sound like they have Hydrostatic Transmissions which are excellent for that kind of snow work but the Newholland sounds quieter inside the cab and seems more stable (maybe weighs more or better traction control?) . The JD tractor seems louder (engine noise/fuel injectors maybe) and also it seems it does slightly more bouncing around when pushing snow. ------ I was raised on a dairy farm and we grew crops for cow feed (corn silage and hay and some grain like soybeans and corn) so i've driven tractors.

I think it's more of an Operator's call on which is better. Operator comfort is a big part of that. Which has the more comfortable positions for shifting, hydraulics, steering. Any differences in power, road speed, hydraulic speed, lighting and visibility? I am partial to John Deere. I have five tractors and they are four different manufacturers. I like each one for different reasons. At the end of a long day, do you feel better after operating the John Deere or the New Holland? Thanks for another great video. 👍👍👍

Snow seems very fluffy. I am sure with dry snow and not wet snow, either one would do good. In parts of America we get lake effect snow. Very heavy! 👍

Fendt's are starting to make a big impression in America. John Deere lately has been a topic of conversation lately. As long as Mr.Snowplow is happy its all good.

I have a friend who works with farm equipment for a living, who says that here in the US at least John Deere brand is notably overpriced for what you get.
