Sunday evening post-Gencon. I was feeling very down and nervous about my travel arrangements for the next day, and while moping in my hotel's lobby a couple invited me to join them cracking this game open. We had great fun with it, giving me a much needed boost. It really is as good as Zee says. I'd recommend it.

I love collecting racing games with very different styles and mechanisms (Gravwell, K2, Salmon Run, Jamaica) so I will definitely be picking this up. Glad it's back in print! It won't matter much to me, either, but wow, could they have made that cover more boring?

How do you feel this compares to something like Ave Caesar or Formula D?

+Mr E Formula D I haven't played, but Ave Caesar is a much simpler game than Snow Tails, and can be explained to and played with just about anybody. Both are worth having!

I have both original Snow Tails and Snow Tails 2. Both great games that play slightly differently

Josh Wood Yes, they are! Your old tracks will match up with the new.

Liked the game but figuring out drifts in turns and generally planning your turn was really clunky. I imagine it gets easier with practice.

I noticed that the original printing had the sleds moving toward the side with the lower numbered dog. The second printing is as Zee described, moving toward the opposite side.
