I've heard some critics/reviewers say you have to separate "art" from the "artist" when it comes to this movie. First, I believe this is a product not art. It was created to check boxes. Second, if you went to a local store and the owner/operators were rude and offensive, you'd give your money to another store with more agreeable people. So why give your money to support "Sid the Sloth" when there are better "actors" (who are better human beings) out there who are really trying to make art? This movie looks like trash.

Can't help but think if Disney started again that they would have found the balls to cast real little people, but no doubt having filmed most of the film already after receiving the backlash of casting the diverse "merry men" they just relied on CGI to fill in the gaps. Ridiculous and lazy. Disney may keep the rights in their pocket but once again disappoint the masses. I hope they lose money and stop fooling us with 'live action remakes' and actually go back to basics, making real life remakes. Better yet, why they can't create illustrated films again like in their golden years? The quality has just been steadily crumbling. Don't get me started on the Star Wars franchise (and I'm not even a Star Wars fan)!
