Sometimes the low speed jet is also clogged preventing easy starting and running at idle, and you do need to remove the carb. Then Unscrew the black plastic idle speed stop screw and lift the jet holder out. Very small jet hole can be cleaned out with a wire cut from a wire brush. Insert the jet holder and replace the idle speed screw to the depth where it was. Now if you also cleaned the main jet as you showed so well, your blower will likely run like new.

Yeah I see what you mean. I have taken these carbs off before and it can be a job. Just wanted to show a quick trick to do right before you need to snowblow.

Nice video. What sized wrench did you use? Haven’t had the problem in many years, ever since I started keeping fuel stabilizer in the gas year round. As soon as I buy gas and bring it home, I add Sta-bil and shake the gas can around to mix it. Has been starting on first or second pull for many years. I have electric start but only have used it once because it starts so easily with the fuel stabilizer in it. The stabilizer keeps the carb from getting gummed up.

Glad you liked it! The wrench was a 10mm

What spark plug does that machine take. It's the same machine as my Huskee and someone lost it.

I no longer have the machine otherwise I would look. The best thing you could do is look at the manual off the specific model number and try to find it there.

Why did you ger rid of your machine ?

It was never mine to begin with. Was working on this for a friend so when I was finished I gave it back to him.
