on square rails or street style boxes, it can help to jump up instead of jumping against it. for example the whistler quad kink u can prey much only get through if u jump up not against it!

When I go for a 50-50 I approach the rail at an angle and I land on the rail at that same angle I left the takeoff with. It turns into a front board and I slide out on my toes and fall. How do I get that slight rotation to go from the 15 degree approach to pointing the board straight with the rail?

Point your shoulders in line with the rail. And master your mental fear of the 50-50 because it could lead you to bailing early which might actually be more dangerous. The comment is for someone new that came to this video.

Hey guys, I hope you’ll be able to see this. Whenever coming into a rail from the left (toeside) I normally end up on the rail for a few seconds, then my board slips of the left side of the rail and my knees *slam* the rail and I’ve almost really hurt myself. I’m dying to be able to do rails like these instead of lame boxes. Please help!
