There is a small mountain near Gore about 45 minutes south in the town of Queensbury, NY. It's called West Mountain. I know plenty of people that ride Gore in the day and head to West for nights before going home.

@@invincibleyt9092 yeah they have a trail called white lightning which is actually the second steepest trail in the east. 46 degrees. It’s super short though. They usually put bumps on it and they r the softest I’ve ever felt. My favorite run is cannonball. It’s an awesome run to completely bomb

If your in the east, you have to go to mount Ellen at sugarbush for an amazing terrain park, better than every other vt mountain expect maybe killington, also there are quaretining requirement for coming to vt

You should check out mountain creek. A much better Jersey gem. They have a whole mountain with 20 trails and 1000 vertical feet of dedicated terrain park

Coasters n' Creations mountain creek isn’t the greatest, it has its short comings. But for a Jersey resort it’s the best. I agree they have some issues with pot holes at the bottom of boxes, and they’re lacking steeps. But the greens are great to learn on, they’re not cross country. You take what you can get in jersey. I’m not saying it’s the best, it’s just good by Jersey standards. I live near by so it’s the place to go. Yea upstate is better, but the 4x longer drive isn’t always worth it
