I need to say that where ever I visit I buy two things. A Christmas tree ornament and a fridge magnet. Very small items and every year as I set up my tree I am reminded of where I was, with who and how much I was loving being there.

Nowhere on the youtube jungle does anyone offer so much heartfelt adventure to their viewers as you two and the Kitties do .. what an amazing series and you are just getting started .. how precious is the atmosphere to create such a magical show for their people.. I am not sure how the average person can afford these environments as the food looks exquisite but the prices are insane .. My great grandfather was from the Alsace area. I never knew him, but my grandmother would talk about him quite a bit. And he spoke a German that was a little bit different than most Germans because there was some French tossed in with it. Gorgeous views, even on a rainy day. What a fun market!

Love it that you showed us the majestic castle and got a camping car park card! Love Alsace Lorraine, France. My mom’s family have roots from this area and we were able to visit that whole area in 2001 with my parents for their 50th year wedding anniversary! It truly is an amazing area! I sit on pins and needles as you take us through this region of France - especially around the Rhine River! Love you soooooo much for taking me along! Stay safe, stay warm, and have fun! I love the Christmas Markets especially in France. The food is amazing! You're definitely in for some treats. I hope you'll visit Colmar . It's one of my favourite towns. FYI I didn't realise there were so many low emission zones. I drove through them because I know my van is a diesel/ gazole Euro 6 and compliant. I've been back home in the UK for 5 months and have not received any prosecution notifications . Also you'd be better parking up outside these zones and using public transport. Anyway loving your journey ❤

I can’t wait for your Strassburg adventure. You MUST try Flammkuchen fresh out of the brick oven while there. It is heavenly! Similar to a thin crust pizza but topped with crème fraiche, sliced onions and bacon bits. Cathedral is stunning. Now I’m biting my nails waiting to see where New Year’s Eve will be spent. I’m sure fireworks will be spectacular 😍. Oh how I miss Europe this time of year.

I love the Christmas market, I love everything about Christmas and… I live one town over from a town here in Michigan called Frankenmuth, it’s a beautiful little German town with a self proclaimed largest Christmas store in the world, the town is all lit up for Christmas pretty close to the one you just showed, so much fun!!! Every mile of Europe is beautiful and special. I swear I should have been born there. I miss it. It calls to my soul. Thank you so much for sharing but I have to say it brings tears to my eyes the longing to be there is so intense. Please be present in every moment. I have a friend who visits Greece every year and has become immune to its beauty. She says 'Once you've seen one old rock you've seen them all". For me that could not be further from the truth. Merry Christmas Snow and Curt. I love France, the people have always been gracious and the food is simply magnificent. The “plat du jour” on the boards outside of the restaurants never failed to awaken my tastebuds and surprise me. We found that as long as we were kind (adjust like you two) to the locals they were kind back and actually went out of their way to assist us. Treasure each and every moment.
